I moved from Queens to taste a tasty chenchen with a delicious goat, accompanied by eggplant torreja and yucca arepita.Chef Yala is tough in the kitchen.

Excellent quality. I ordered a sancocho for 35 people and everyone was happy with the flavor and how good it was. I recommend it 100%

The seasoning of Yala cuisine is the best, everything I order is always delicious, well cooked and hot.

I don't recommend it at all! Very little food and super expensive, plus the presentation is not the same in person!! And the food didn't taste great ????

Not bad. This is a nice neighborhood spot. A place where you won't get anything fancy but leave satisfied, having had a good meal. The churrasco was a little fatty and tough but well-seasoned. It came with sweet potato fries that were crispy and simply prepared -- some of the best I've ever had. The steak quesadilla was also a little tough but so well-seasoned that the extra chewing required worked out in my favor. The side of mofongo was pretty good as well. There are few more things on this menu I'd like to taste. I'll definitely return.

A good place to enjoy good food and a pleasant atmosphere... and a 10? service... and they leave you with the desire to return... I who travel from Boston would do it

First of all they have to specify to the customer that they only accept cash, a sign wouldn't hurt, the food doesn't taste bad but the prices are high, I went for the sheet cakes and I thought they would taste better.

Very bad service. I went with my wife. When we arrived, they welcomed us and told us we could sit wherever we wanted. Well, the place was empty, there was only one table occupied by 3 people. The waiter brought us the menus and left never to return. We waited for maybe 20 min or more. No one ever came to ask if we wanted to order or if we wanted something to drink, as any restaurant always does. In the end we decided to leave. And it was there that a girl asked us if they took our order.

I had the skirt steak. Don’t order it in a Yala box. Is not worth the price.

The food was amazing, the staff friendly and professional, and the ambience was like being back home. I love a well prepared Churrasco that is cooked properly and delivers flavor and the right amount of juiciness. Let me say first the Churrasco smelled divine, it did not over power but just the right amount to get your mouth watering. As you cut in to the steak it’s the perfect level of tenderness to get you excited to taste the meat and once you take the first bit, it’s like a little bit of heaven in your mouth. The best part is the steak delivers from beginning to end. Definitely on the must redo list.
