Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. We were both very pleased and we will be dining here again very soon. If you have not been here, you should definitely give them a visit. Peace and Love, Chele from the Block.

I’m a regular here at this point it’s so good! Such a cute family owned and operated spot. Food is always excellent and drinks are good. You get what you pay for here, the burritos/quesadillas have way more steak or shrimp than other places and the ingredients taste fresh. I bring my friends and family here when they visit and they always want to come back. Highly recommend!

Cute ambiance, good drinks, and delicious food. Overall a great spot for brunch. One of the first things I noticed was that they gave us an actual physical menu and it made me so happy lol - I get the hype for QR codes but there's just something about holding a menu or flipping through some pages (bring back traditions!). My bf and I tried a couple of things: the tuna tostaditas which were very tasty (we loved the tuna and pico de mango combination); the brunch burger which looked delicious; and the huevos rancheros which were crispy and so so flavorful. For dessert we had the fried ice cream which I definitely recommend if you have a sweet tooth. We also tried the Frida and Villa signature cocktails to which we had no notes. I would definitely return for happy hour or dinner soon!

The place was great, as well as the food. Service was good, only downside.. I ordered 2 rounds of Don Julio shots. Each on a separate check and tipped gwnerously. The second round of shots, the bartender (or waiter), poured an extra shot. When delivered to the table, they asked if we wanted the shot. Well, sure...so I thought. The gentlemen explained he had to charge me. I declined. There was no need for another shot as we ordered a round of drinks with our food, as well. Other than that little awkward moment, the place was great. Grilled octopus was good, mac n cheese creamy and cheesy, and tuna tostados, really good. One friend had the muscles, and she raved about them. My other friend had the chilaquiles, and she said it tasted like mom's. Overall, highly recommend. (FRIDA drink shown in photo....delicious!)

Went to this restaurant for my son's birthday, we arrived at 4 to take advantage of the happy hour. The appetizers are delicious, the food is very delicious and the desserts are delicious. The reason whyI give one star ⭐️ for the service because it is terrible. The bar tender is very slow, it takes a long time to make the drinks, the waiter lacks a lot of attention to see what the tables need. It seems like they didn't want to work there, to bring us a drink for almost 45 minutes in the 3 hours I was there I could only have one drink per hour.

This review is long overdue, considering that we either order takeout or eat in at Maisonetta at least twice a week. We have become big fans of the nachos, burritos and the salads are delicious. Staff is excellent, great service every time we come and everything delivery always holds up. Really thrilled to have this great high-quality restaurant in the neighborhood. Thank you Maisonetta!

Came here for Valentine's day just to celebrate and support a business near by me. The place is small, but its a nice space. When I entered I was not really greeted by any of the employees. I was disapointed because I came during happy hour time and there was no happy hour that day because it was valentine's day.Fine, so I stood to eat and drink anyways because I was already there. There was a young man who first came to our table but honestly he lacked professionalism and service. He never came back to us again, then eventually this lady was our server. She was much better in terms of service but it took a while for us to get our food and our waiter to check in with us. She was decent though. They had a performer playing piano and singing which I though was a nice touch to the holiday. The place was also nicely decorated. To order, I got 4 drinks in total of classic margaritas with added flavor of hibiscus, and mango. It was pretty good. I ordered 2 of the churrasco Al carbon, it came with mash potatoes and a side of garlic spinach. The food was really good as well. For dessert I got 1 order of churros with ice cream and it was delicious also. The bill came out to $168. I found this to be just a tad bit pricey. The good thing is that tip is not included automatically which I appreciate because some restaurants do that now with a party less than 5-6 which I absolutely hate. Overall, I will come back because the place was nice and the food and drinks were good. I would say in order to have a successful business customer service has to be top notch so if they can work on this it would be a 5/5 restaurant.

I loved this place. The food and drinks were amazing. Up until the other day, I ordered nachos and ate some there and took the rest to go. The next day it looked like the waitress dropped them on the floor and picked them up and put them into the to go box. I pulled out hair. It was v disgusting. Also I had ordered the pulpo one there and one to go and they only gave me 1/2 the amount so I only got 1 octopus piece. I am so disappointed bc up to now this place was great but this wa unacceptable

This eatery has easily become my top choice in the Bronx! The consistently exceptional food makes every visit enjoyable, regardless of the dish you choose. Personally, we can never pass up the fried calamari - it's a definite must-try. Since relocating to the area last June, this spot has become our preferred destination for date nights, dinners with friends and family, and even our New Year's Eve celebration this year. Being family-owned, the place exudes a welcoming atmosphere, and the attentive staff consistently adds to the positive experience. I cannot express enough how highly I recommend this gem.

I was not originally going to leave a review of how much worse the food has gotten over time but now that the restaurant is littering the streets of their neighbors with their menus I’ve changed my mind (see images). The food has progressively gotten worse as time goes on. If you order a burrito then I hope you are a fan of onions because you are going to get a healthy dose of slimy onion jam. This place went from being a phenomenal French-Mex fusion with amazing steak frites to below average, nothing restaurant that has no identity in its menu. All of a sudden they are serving diner food? With other good restaurants in area popping up, there are now better options that aren’t littering our streets.
