Wow, wow, wow! This is our go to Mexican food spot whenever we’re craving it (or don’t feel like cooking). Literally anything you order will be delicious! ANYTHING! Our favorites are the chicken burrito dinner, fajitas mixtas, bistec a la mejicana, their tacos (tinga, al pastor, bistec) and guacamole! They have great happy hour deals from Monday-Thursday until 7 pm and their mojitos are TO DIE FOR!The servers and owner are incredibly sweet and attentive and super hard working.The place is cute, dinnerware is on theme, and we always find a table when we drop in.I can’t recommend this place enough!

Little neighborhood place, very fresh food, friendly, courteous staff, and a good price point. We've gone twice, both times were great experiences. I like that it's small...it feels like a hidden gem for locals, and hopefully our next visit is just as nice.Vegetarian options: They had options that were cheese and vegetables, no meat. They do not offer plant based meat, but it wasn't an issue for our visit/dinner.

Mama Puebla is a local Mexican restaurant in the Bronx on Tremont with a rustic vibe. Order a couple mojitos with their friendly staffs while enjoying great Spanish music and browsing through their gigantic menu. There’s no bread here but delicious salsa and chips while you wait for your food. Drinks and food come out quick and fresh and most importantly, very authentic with a New York twist. Even though it was a rainy day, inside is a beautiful Mexican night full of flavor. Let me preface this by saying I'm not from ny just visiting family and this is my first time where I'm driving myself around. I was struggling with the parking meter and went inside to ask for change and the worker while he didn't have change helped me out and I finally was able to park. I decided to stop by and order after my appointment since he was very nice and accommodating. I was headed back home so I placed a to go order. Wait time was only about 10 mins. I got the birria torta and horchata. The horchata was a little on the sweet side but still good and the torta was demolished within 10 mins of getting the box open. If that doesn't tell you it was fire I don't know what will. Will definitely be coming back to try more the next time I visit.
