I am convinced that all the high reviews are fake. This restaurant is the reason why people don’t support black businesses. The owners need to value the people who spends their hard earned money instead of being rude and they should teach the workers to respect their elders. Unbelievable

Just bought food there not even ten minutes ago to carry on the train since it was almost 3 and I haven’t ate from morning only to find the fried chicken fridge cold, the rice room temperature and the gravy warm this makes me wonder if this is even save to eat. They need to maintain their temperature because that can be unsafe.

Service is horrible there. I went there to purchase food I told the guy behind counter I would be paying with my card he acts as if he does not know how to operate machine while being rude the whole time. Why have up credit card signs if u can’t operate machine?

I've been meaning to try this spot for years after I met an employee a while back. I can say I was really disappointed. The person serving the food didn't have a positive demeanor. She didn't have a nasty attitude but kind of came off like she was doing me a favor although I am the customer. The store was completely empty so that should of been a red flag. The price for my meal was not on the wall but I assumed it was the same price as all the chicken. I was shocked when I was told my medium j*** chicken was $12.46. I was given 1 piece of chicken and 5 scoops of rice w infant portion of vegetables. The food had a very thick gravy as if they were left overs and their for a while. You can't see over the counter that it was only 1 piece of chicken cause had I known I wouldn't have proceeded with the order. The rice and peas were over cooked but the j*** chicken was fine. The issue was the cabbage. It had a spoiled taste to go with it. It definitely wasn't fresh. I had to stop eating my food because I couldn't trust it. Total waste of money and my first and last time going to this restaurant. I gave a 2 star because the j*** chicken wasn't bad although my food still went in the trash due to the cabbage upsetting my stomach.

You know when they trust your instincts.......... so originally I wanted a patty from golden crust but the line was long so I walked over to see this restaurant. My kids were hungry so I ordered food. Food was disgusting and apparently no good. We barely ate anything before throwing it away. Currently both my children and I have the runs so yeah never again

When we try to order it's like she being force to attend to us. We cone with smile but her attitude is disgusting. Makes me and I know a few people not want to come in there to deal with her. There was another women who worked there when the spot opened up. She was amazing! And another thing.... the food was spoiled and she didn't throw it out when people wanted to order that specific food. She throws it out after they ordered and said have to order something else smh. Cause of that rude women I don't think I'll go back in that spot.
