I used to frequent Best Choice every weekend. Then COVID happened. Since COVID occurred, quality, taste and service are next to nothing. Not the first time I've been disappointed, but IT'S THE LAST. The old counter people are gone and I'm trying to figure where they find these new ones. It was hit or miss, UNTIL YESTERDAY. Asked the counter lady "What do you have?" because it was late. She said "oxtail, curry, chicken..." I stopped her right there and said: oxtail, curry chicken and fried chicken. 3 orders. Don't say you have oxtail and give me CURRY GOAT. I told her for the fried chicken NO THIGHS - either 2 legs or 1 leg and 1 wing. No, she gives me 1 leg and 1 THIGH. Not to mention the chicken LEG and mac & cheese was cold and nasty. Turned off. The curry goat is useless because again, I don't eat goat. and the curry chicken was nasty as well. Stop playing with people and their money. I used love this place and now I hope they go out of business. I see why the juice bar man left. WICKED.

My curried goat rice plate was filled with tiny bone shards like they'd put the whole leg through a wood chipper without de-boning it first. Unsafe to eat.

The food is ok.....the juice bar is excellent.....the staff at the front (ladies) has improved a bit but must be further trained on proper customer service.

Bought a large red peas with chicken foot soup from them no chicken foot. I bring it back they give me 2 peices for the large. I won't be going back.

The food is always good, but the cashiers in the front have a nasty attitude. I was in there recently and I was skipped over because the cashier claim they didn’t see me although I was standing where you are suppose to order.I’m sorry to say but I will never come back here even if I’m was dying of hunger

Best Caribbean food in the Bronx. Food is of great quality. Establishment is always clean and orderly and the juice bar is a great plus.
The place offers a great variety of fresh food. I liked dining here. The employees are always friendly, pricing is fair and the place is always clean.
My favorite uptown spot. Ackee rice and J*** rice
