I stop by here whenever I'm in the area. I usually get the fried whiting and chips. Today, I wanted steamed seafood and I got what I was hoping for. The whitings, shrimp, red skin potatoes, and corn were delicious. I'm talking Full Flavor. I will be back.

This spot has been there for ages (recall going there for my preggo cravings 11 yrs ago) and I recently went back and they didn't disappoint. This was my kids' first time and they tore it up and requesting another trip soon. We had the family combo for us 3 and it was enough for 2 meals for us. Filling, fresh, fried with crisp, well seasoned. Not overly oily either. Call ahead for pick up to make it easier, with usually a 15/20 mins wait time.Besides the food, just be mindful when going there because it's in a short dead end area with a parking lot at the end, so my suggestion is park to the side streets to pick it up.

Wow I must say for a small establishment this was the best fish and shrimp I ever had in my life and I've eaten everywhere it was so lightly battered and fresh it remind me of a old Harlem place .I just bumped into it but I will be back

This is a to go establishment, the fish didn't get chips was nice and light ,you have to add your own salt and pepper, the carrot cake is delicious, they ran out of the banana pudding ( only on Fridays) I came late , I've been buying fish from them when they were in Harlem on Lenox and 129th st the food is still delicious and that's more then 40 yrs I've been dealing with them

11-2 lunch special, arrived about 1:58,( My friend is hyped about the spot and took me ) I never been, he talking with the fryer/cook, ordered food 2 mins after 2pm Fish, Shrimp and Chips combo was ordered, bill came to $40, I looked at my friend and said what happen to the lunch special ( now it wasn't ordered as such, let me get a lunch special etc ) so my friend asked what's the difference between the lunch special and what the cook gave, he was told the size. My friend went with what was given. 2 cakes and 2 Juices he ordered in addition. 1 juice was a lemonade drink, and had what may have been a Gnat that fly's around, so I quietly mentioned something was floating in the drink, the cook at the window takes it, looks at it shakes it around, asked where, I pointed it out, he said it must of came from the sugar, tries to pour it out, instead of giving another drink, hands it back to me and the GNat is still in it. I said to my friend it's still in it, he did not switch the drink, so my friend took my drink and gave me his. Now I finally get to the food and the side of the papa we bowl was not something that seemed large. I'm wondering now why the lunch special suppose to be a difference. Small pieces of fish and a about 3 shrimps and fries were in the small bowl. No seasoning taste on the fish, or fries, only the shrimp taste like it had seasoning. I was okay with just adding hot sauce and ketchup. Not sure if I will go back.

Food has no seasoning waste of money.

I usually don't like to make bad recommendations on small businesses but I would make an exception on this one. Why would anyone recommend this place beats me. The fish served was not even seasoned with the minimum seasoning of salt and pepper neither was the dusting flour used to fry the fish. Obviously the oil was not hot enough the fries was soggy overdone and disgusting. Since it was a takeaway you couldn't see what was in the bag. When opened the fish covered over the soggy fries it was just repulsive. This is a basic order how could one get it so messed up!
