Years ago I came and was impressed by the music, the service and the atmosphere, today it seems like any other disco restaurant, the music and the DJ seem like they are from the cocolage or from a single cultural segment, when they talked about salsa con fuego we all thought the Latin culture in the USA, and in inclusion... When I reserved a table they gave me a price when I paid by card they said that the price for paying by card was different and that is illegal, if you do not tip immediately the cameras will not attend to you hehehehe, why is it?..., I'm sorry to say it but it seems times have changed and this place that was an icon in the bronx has changed.... I urge the management to work to improve the service, and I'm not saying this for myself, but for Some clients next to me I saw were dissatisfied with some things, having good service does not mean having pretty women serving, it means having customer assistance, thank you, I hope on my next visit we can see improvements.

I’m not the first and I won’t be the last to say it. The absolute WORST part of this establishment are their security guard’s and I’m assuming that the owners know and love that because they do nothing to change it. Dear owner: if the people who go to your business to spend their money, enjoy the music, food, artists etc. are the ones voicing over and over again how rude and disrespectful they are being treated by the guards YOU are hiring please LISTEN. It’s great if you’re making money now, but unfortunately God don’t play and you can easily loose everything. One day, one unfortunate day - something will happen and your business will be at risk of closing. We, the people help make your money. Remember. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING IN THE UNITED STATES. And for you (Salsa con Fuego) it begins at the main entrance.

The place is very nice but the service is terrible. We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday and they assigned us a table and they said that to sit at that table we had to buy at least 4 bottles that totaled 1,200. We were 4 people. It is impossible to order 4 bottles of one alone and if we didn't buy them we had to leave the table and have a table without chairs, the service was terrible.

Though the food was flavorful I have to give a 1-star because of the disrespect that came out of the kitchen. I ordered guac and chips; they didn't even mash the avocados, then I found 3 pieces of romaine lettuce on plate with the chips. Make that make sense. They were literally like f-this just send it out. Also not many options for plant based eaters, don't waste your time on food here.
