I give it a star not because of the food but because the prices are too high... apart from that they charge you an extra fee for paying by card, and something else that I didn't like is that the tip is included, I am a waitress and I agree to leaving a tip but you can't charge a tip if you order takeout...in the place we only ate a chicken with slices, 2 baleadas and two coffee and the rest of the food was takeout and they charged me 18% tip as a waitress. I don't agree with that

So fun! The Honduran baleadas are absolutely delicious! Great neighborhood place.

Two comments : charging non Cash so they can add extra to the bill even though we were going to pay cash and adding the tip themselves very disappointing

My pupusas were good very tasty, hot and fresh. I was satisfied. Service was fast and good, friendly. The ambiance was good, Latin music . Not too loud.

A waitress harasses you too much to ask for the most expensive dishes and does not give you time to choose, nice place, good food, every time I return to this place the portion of food is smaller and the prices are higher.

LOVED IT!!! Kept passing by until I went in one day. Tons of space, good music, good food, EXCELLENT drink choices. I'm about to come back with 20 friends! The drinks come in 3 sizes: small, $16; medium (great value) $30, and large, $50.Vegetarian options: Eat whatever you want and just say "no meat". Lol. Idk. The food is excellent. There's plenty of options without meat but if you want something "vegetarian style" just ask them to hold the meat.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options. Check out their menu.Parking: I found a spot quite easily on a Monday afternoon. Free street parking. There were a few spots available, in fact. Not sure what the weekends look like.Kid-friendliness: There is no playground or specific spots for kids. It's a spot for adults but if the child can sit still for a meal, it's not quiet, so they can be themselves and make noise. Bring a tablet or whatever entertains your child.Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right in.

Good evening, I hope the Manager reads this review. To begin, I want to let you know that I am a tourist and I do NOT live here in New York. I arrived. The boy asked me if it was to dine in or to take out. I told him to dine in. Take a seat. Just when I sit down, the other girl arrives and tells me she wants guacamole with chips. And I told him if the boy comes back and asks me again if I'm ready to order, I told him no, I was still waiting for someone, about 20 minutes later, the person I was waiting for arrived and I ordered. When my receptionist arrived I asked him if the guacamole was on the house and the supposed manager told me no so I told him YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR WAY OF COMMUNICATION why the girl offered it to me because normally chips and guacamole are appetizers and that NORMALLY Everywhere is a free appetizer. I just want to let you know that I understand that it is a business but above all you have to be honest and know how to talk to clients why it was my first time visiting them and I don't plan to visit them again.

My family goes to eat there once a month since the food is delicious and somewhat expensive which is worth it!The thing is that they always want to be clever with the tips, my bill is 200 to 300 dollars, we make good consumption, I hope the owner pays his employees a little better so that they are not so abusive! And for a change I have gone to places where a maximum of two people do the work, they, who are like 4 people, do not kill themselves enough to come and collect tips of 20 dollars per person

I have been coming to Seis Vecinos for ~4 years with my partner. had a large dinner for my sons 1st birthday here and genwrally have enjoyed dining here. My experience this last evening will likely be our last. We ordered 2 quesadillas, Guacamole and a platano de canoa with (1) alcohol bev. The drink was a medium size. The food was extremely over salted but that was the least of our problems. When we got the bill, there was already a $14.70 tip added in. A $4.36 surcharge (this was explained as a charge for using a CC, although I had not presented any form of payment up to that point!)and my wife's drink was $30!!!!! The total was ~$110. I asked for a manager but was told there was no manager available. We will not be returning to SeiS Vecinos as these shady tactics with subpar and non consistent food is enough to sit out the HOUR drive we make to come here.

My daughter went with two friends they got 2 steak quesadillas, chicken taco salad 3 sodas and guacamole and chips $105. Are you kidding me that’s ridiculous they need to let you know how much the guacamole and chips are because they are not clear about prices when you ask.If you use a card it more expensive and they automatically add a tip. Never again will not return

This restaurant is the worst… the food is very expensive, the waiters haven't even finished eating when they come and take your plate… my worst experience is that they are abusive, they put the tip on the bill as if it is obligatory to give what they want. take out… I don't recommend it to anyone be careful when they go there..
