I haven't been to STEPIN in over 10 years. I must say it is a major difference in what I use to know. Upon my arrival I was greeted and seated very quickly. After being seated I was greeted by the waiter who didn't offer his name nor recommend anything. He was very dismissive as if he was doing us a favor by serving me and my boyfriend. After receiving our food he disappeared again and we did notice only the people by the wall area were being catered to the whole time by both waiters. They didn't think to come check the booth area until they were called. After asking my server why he hasn't came to check on us he said I have those people over there who blah blah blah. I dint want to hear it and said we are customers too. He then brought us the check and I never asked for it because I wanted to order something else but changed my mind. He made me want to leave and I would come back but not to be served by any dismissive rude server. I didn't leave a tip and I am a big tipper because he didn't deserve it. Again the food was amazing and worth every penny.Parking: It was on a Sunday therefore parking was free and around the corner from the resturant.

The sassy man behind the bar will be the reason I’d never return here. He pretended as though he was so busy while I was patiently waiting at the bar for 15 minutes without any eye contact from him. He completely ignored me while offering shots on the house to guests who were already tended to. I have never been treated in such a way with no cause as I stated he made it seem like I wasn’t present. What a shame because the place actually seemed decent. Do better!!!!

Love the atmosphere. Very friendly. Professional staff. The bartender Eddie is a amazing mixologist when it comes to drinks. My favorite food is the grilled shrimp salad and the barbecue wings with their blue cheese dipping sauce.
