The only blimpies left in the south Bronx and it’s very very much appreciated. Only problem I have is they don’t have wheat bread everyday and that’s a problem for me who don’t eat whit bread

For this review I am solely writing about the Blimpie. Blimpie's used to have so many locations and I believe the franchise has better sandwiches than Subway's. However Subway's took over the market and sadly there aren't enough of those blimpies around. I ordered my favorite Tuna Sandwich Large and these sandwiches are much bigger and taster in my opinion than Subways. It leans into being a real deli made sandwich that Subways. After eating at this location, the taste was consistent to what I remembered as buying one of these sandwiches when I was a kid. I was weirded out that blimpie shares its location with Twin Donut but it's the food that counts.

Small place. They serve blimpie sandwiches on one side. You can get twin donuts/ desserts on the other. They also serve ice cream.

The cashier is a true gem. Sweet and personable. I hope she’s well compensated. The cook was super fast and efficient. Honestly, this place could use a face lift but overall it’s pretty clean. The food was good and hot like I like it. Keep up the good work, see you next time I have to come to court to pay some tickets ?

DO NOT GO!!!!! So they report blimpies as being closed and have them listed as Twin Donuts. I went against my judgment and went in for a sandwich. Talk about the worst customer service. The cashier talked for 10 minutes to regular customer who already had their order. When I was ready to order, she had an attitude for me stopping her conversation. In addition the prices are not clear. I was charged more because I wanted a hot sandwich. The sandwich itself was thrown together and a waste of money. While they claim to sell Donuts, I would not dare buy one... They all looked old the very few they had on display. Think twice before going in this dump!!!!

The donuts from this place taste AWFUL and I was left with this medicine after taste in my mouth. That alone left me with no interest to try anything else because if the donuts could not be prepared right there is no way their other food items would be good. The former Crown Donuts near the train station was way better than this place yet these people are still open and suck. I did not care for this donut spot and I do not recommend.
