Bought 1/2 half jerk chicken but could not stomach the food - the food made me sick after a few bites. Jerk chicken was soggy and tasteless. Ultimately, the jerk bowl went into the garbage.This place used to deliver decent jerk chicken (when it was UG aka ULTIMATE GRILL)!!!!This new management cooking style is not working out.... not working out for me at all.I already vowed to stay away from their rice offering - too dry, so much so that it is not palatable on its own.Now, the jerk chicken is off the list...

I will no longer do business with UG Grill. Disappointed to say the least! The restaurant provided food for my birthday party and delivered half of what I paid for the day of my event. When I told the owner she apologized and said she needed about an hour to prepare and deliver the rest of the food, what I got was disappointing, and my guest told me so. They rushed to prepare the food and delivered the wrong thing the second time, that's embrassing. SMH. Part of my money had to be refunded. At that point the owner invited me and a couple of friends to the restaurant as her guest. I reluctantly accepted and took 3 friends. After we ate she presented us with a bill for the drinks and appetizers. That was tacky. The owner should have comped the entire meal including the beverages. Again, I will never do business with UG Grill again.

I ordered an oxtail rasta pasta and it was extremely disgusting and overpriced. I was given 3 little pieces of oxtail along with pasta that was barely boiled and the sauce/gravy was horrible. They charged me 27 dollars for this, which I also found ridiculous. Never again will I be ordering from there.

This place has so much potential. The chefs are always on point. BUT YOY SEE THEM GIRLS AT THE REGISTER/FRONT DESK? Typical Jamaican restaurant hospitality... you can order what you want to eat but they will tell the chef what to make you! Especially the braces

My cousin living in NJ was having a family reunion and wanted snapper escovitch. The snapper was fried perfectly and the sauce was put on the side for us to put on when we arrived it was perfect and went over very well. The snapper were huge

If I can give no stars I would. My sister had them cater her bday party. The order was wrong. Even when they tried to correct it still was wrong. Rice was hard not completely mix. They cut 1 chicken leg about 4 time. It was so embarrassing to serve bones to the guest The food was so bad that we had to go buy Popeyes chicken and subway sandwiches. The guest was just throwing the food away. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY. GO TO POPEYES.

I wish I took a photo. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas to go. I get home and the minute I opened the container I said "hmm it's weird that I don't smell any jerk seasoning at all". I tasted the chicken and it definitely wasn't jerk. It was over cooked and barely seasoned. Then I moved onto the rice, probably the driest rice I've ever had. It was so disappointing.

I wanted to give this place a try despite the negative review but unfortunately that reviewer was correct. I ordered the large jerk chicken platter which came with rice and peas and steamed vegetables. The rice and peas were rubbery with barely any peas. The vegetables were clearly steamed days ago and reheated. They were brown.The worst part was the chicken. Old, dried out and like 4 small chunks of chicken that were mostly bone. The rice, peas, and veggies were inedible.

My friend recommended this place to eat and I had the baked chicken rice and peas and vegetables. Babies!!! The food was soooo delicious I enjoyed wayyy better than Golden Krust!!!! Definitely will go back again!!!

Ordered here recently & the j*** chicken meal was full of pepper. Stopped buying from them already and decided to give them another chance...it was going so well until I got pepper for dinner. Food is suppose to be enjoyable. Giving them another break. Plate was also full of rice and bones like they scraped to put it together.
Please to bring back the old owner. A week ago I got the rasta pasta the food was literally the worst to the point I threw it away. Today I said let me give them a chance again. This time it was actually worse than before. The food had absolutely no taste. The soup was all water. You can tell it's not the chef fault. The is because of cheap ingredients. I've been supporting this establishment for over 8 years but every since Paul left the restaurant took a turn for the worst. Upon ordering my food I decided to get a pineapple ginger juice and I was told $7 dollars and change plus tax I said no thank you I'm good !I wouldn't recommend

One of my favorite place to eat. Walking distance from Mi yard. Am so Eye love with the j*** chicken Rasta Pasta. As soon as work done am here. If you never had it it’s a must try. Big up Michelle n her cooks. Jah know them can cook. Finger licking good. Just make sure u tell the cook u want a good amount of sauce n try the j*** sauce with the half chicken.

I'm underwhelmed by the food here. I ordered via UE. The not so positive reviews of the Rasta Pasta are spot on, IMHO. Sauce lacks flavor and any semblance of veggies.I'm adding a picture of the two-thirds bone (and large chunks of ginger!?!?) serving that my lady had. Not cool at all.I'd rather eat at Golden Krust, TBH.
