A more than decent alternative on Fordham Road, especially for those too lazy to walk just a few blocks south on Arthur Avenue, University Pizza was for many years my second choice, whenever Pugsley's had closed for the year. Their pizza is good, their pasta isn't bad & both are affordably priced. Slices are pretty big, too! Service is quick, whether you choose to dine in or grab something to go.

Averadge NY style pizza. Greasy, oily and garnished with cheap arregano and garlic. The rolls are pretty good, especially for the price. Interior is clean and the TVs always have current sports games on (mostly soccer).

Placed an order on door dash and waited over an hour for them to CANCEL our order and there’s no phone number to call them and ask why they cancelled it so order at your own risk! (:
