Been over 40 years since I visited, my Wife insisted on me having a Valencia Birthday Cake. I wasn't going to argue, I had moved away and was back after so long. The service was excellent, cake was just like I remember. Would recommend everyone to go there!!!Dietary restrictions: They have low sugars, and other dietary concerns.

My wife hasn't had a Valencia cake since she was a kid, and always talked about wanting one.Placed an order over the phone a week prior, and the cake was made on the morning of pickup.Service was great, and the cake was phenomenal. My wife cried, she was so happy.

Either they are cutting back or the baker has changed their cake recipe. The last four cakes I have bought since August of this year, just does not taste like the authentic Valencia cake. There is no more of that essence that used to just make their cakes taste POP. It's gone. The cake taste is just flat. It's still beautifully made and the filling is delicious, but their Signature Flavor is Gone.

Terrible customer service. It is not the first time I buy from this place. Sometimes, service is okay other times like today is bad. I ordered 3 dozen of cupcakes to bring to my son school for his birthday. I want to reserve 3 cupcakes for my other family members. I requested an small container, they said: "NO, We don't have any extra." I asked: "what about a bag?" Same answer they did. NO. I left. I was planing to buy a whole pudín and a flan but I will not give my money to cheap people.

I always go here for my birthday cakes. The prices have went up a bit but if you like sweets this is the best place to get some. They been in business for a long time and it's a family tradition for my family to have a Valencia cake. I even buy a cake for my family when I travel to visit in Kentucky. The cakes are always fresh and if you are unhappy and your cake is not fresh they will give you a new fresh cake. This place is my favorite bakery and I truly recommend this place.
