I've driven past this place for many years and recently stopped in for the first time! I was overwhelmed by the choices they have to offer, ranging from their food, as well as their supplements! The patties are to die for! Share this with someone who doesn't have an open palette and they wouldn't even think it's vegan! I'm absolutely in love with this place! It is very well kept and the staff's service is a1! Highly recommend!

A bit pricey, but the food is good.Great veg patties. Not enough spice in the soups. Vegan meals are prepared for take out. Bottled juices, packaged beans, grains, bread, honey, tonics and bitters.

On Saturday, 5/11/2022, I went to purchase hot cook food & saw a sign posted stating they are temporarily not cooking food. When asked why, the man said they're waiting to see what happens. The Dept. of Health will put a halt in restaurants because of unsanitary conditions such as the presence of vermins, etc. Also, I decided to buy some patties, and to my surprise, there was a NON-CASH charge plus an additional. 04 fee added to my final payment. I asked the usual lady at the register about those fees. She argued that the banks charge a fee for using their cards. I repeatedly stated that the banks do not charge for using their cards for any purchases. I discovered that at this restaurant, they have since installed a register to take a fee off the customer's cards if they don't pay with cash. PLEASE BE careful customer,, this place is deceitful & does dishonest business with their customers. I will NEVER patronize this place again. This place is on my DISCUSTING LIST.

I've been trying out vegan restaurants in all boroughs of NYC. I've never think of rating a restaurant 1 star until I entered this place. First off, Im now profoundly accustomed to Jamaican customer service, so I wasn't surprised here or eating based on this. The menu is confusing. Someone needs to explain to them what "a la carte" means. I ordered the mock oxtail (on the "a la carte" menu, and figured I would add rice and beans since it was "a la carte". There was no rice and beans (a Caribbean restaurant at lunch) so I got the steamed rice (regret) but I wasn't charged for it. Only to find out that my "a la carte" ? moxtails actually came with rice....again...a la carte. Confusing! Never the less I threw all the rice out. A pic is attached of the moxtails before I consumed. I literally got TWO pieces of "meat". TWO PIECES AND A BUNCH OF STEWED VEGGIES. $16+ FOR TWO PIECES OF MOXTAILS AND SOME NASTY STEAMED RICE! I also ordered a pumpkin patty which they served to the lady, along with her meal, who ordered behind me. Then they tell me I have to choose another because they just ran out. ?. A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!! FOOD IS HORRIBLE.??. BUT THE PATTIES ARE ON POINT. ?. I've visited other Jamaican Vegan restaurants on whiteplains rd and they are all 5 stars...one even getting 7stars from me because of the charm and welcoming staff. Avoid the "Oasis" if you can and trust the other reviews

There are lots of vegan options here, all of the alternative meat options are made with soy. The pumpkin, lentil and j*** plantain patties are tasty. My chickpeas and rice were watery and lacked flavor. Overall the place was okay.

Great variety and options of Jamaican Vegan food. It's an absolute gem of a find and the foods amazing. They also sell vegan beauty care products as well as grocery store type foods. You gotta try their ackee patties, they are legit!
The food was discussing , the rice was soggy and uncooked, the so called vegan ox tail gravy taste like a pound of sugar. I changed my order and it was no better. The rude nasty manager refused to give me my money back. I spent $18 and the portion was like a happy meal portion. I will never go back. I heard that this place is only good for the patties. They can't mess patties up because she orders them frozen and all you have to do is pop in oven. If anyone wants real authentic vegan food, go to, HIMM on white plains road in the Bronx.

I hate to give this place anything other than 5 stars, but the owner was very rude. I ordered a patty that must have been sitting under a light to keep warm for hours and by the time I bought it, it was super hard on one side. At the end I asked to come back another day when the patty’s are fresh and he completely dismissed me and wasn’t polite at all. I try to support our businesses and I didn’t want my money back, but I deserve to be treated with respect, especially when my main purpose was to support our communities after driving 20mins for a patty. It’s ok, God bless!
