1 star review from me. Yesterday we were in Grand Central Terminal at around 4:15. The one who takes the order is very rude!!!!!! He did it infront of my children. The young man who is the cashier is nice. Sorry for him i did not give a tip because of that rude guy who prepares the order.

el servicio es increible y lo explico en ingles por si no me creen > There were a few Zaro's Bakeries in Westchester County, Particularly in Yonkers, NY and in Hartsdale, NY back in the 90s when this bakery was also in the Bronx as well. But nowadays I have to drive mostly 30-45 minutes to get to this bakery in the Bronx, but it is well worth the trip. The food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable.

Picked up a loaf of raisins and walnuts bread from a third-party distributor in the Bronx and I couldn't be happier with the enormous size of the loaf. When I cut it open I was ecstatic. All these nuts and raisins filled the entire cross section of the slice. It got toasted very nicely, staying soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I enjoyed it with a thin spread of butter for a quick snack, or dressed it up with a thick layer of goat cheese, then topped it off with diced strawberries and a drizzle of good honey.
