I live in the neighborhood and have been coming for years. This said the front of the house workers recently added are awful. The experience over this past weekend left me feeling that I will take a break for some time and not come back. I tried to keep my patients and bit my tong but I could clearly see that anything I would have said would have been taken out of context and positioned against me as someone who is perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is normal. So to simplify I will just not come any more.

If you arrive at 1:50 you should be able to get your expresso served and not be told we close the expresso mavhine early because it takes too long. Went across tge street and they clse st 3 and serve expresso coffees until 3:00 pm.I don’t normally place businesses on blast but this really was annoying. I spoke to staff this am and all is good. Thank you.

Staff tends to be rude and unfriendly. Treats are average with an above average price tag. However it is the only place like it in the area. Ditch your staff.

Rude and mediocre pastries. The first pastry I had there was very good so I went back and ordered a croissant. It was over-baked and dry. The next time I was there I ordered a croissant and pointed to the exact one I wanted to buy, one that was normal, not dark (burnt looking) and over-baked. When I got to my car I saw that the croissant they gave me was not the one I pointed to but was a clearly over-baked one. I couldn't believe it. I went back (like 1 min after I had just been there) and tried to rectify the issue but the staff was so rude and arrogant, it was unbelievable and insulting. Really, you are not going to correct your mistake and would rather lose a customer? It's a good way to lose business.

i love this bakery so much! they made me a cake that looks like it’s for my daughters birthday but is actually for mine lol. we just watch so much Super Simple Songs so i wanted her to see something on the cake that she recognizes and gets excited for! the cake was deliciousssss and vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream inside. it tasted great and you did have to let it sit out of the fridge for a few hours before eating it. super delicious at the perfect room temperature. even as leftovers for 5 days it was so good.

I’ve been coming here since they opened. Always a good experience except for today. The dough of the cruller was tasteless. The baguette was gummy. The savory danishes were inconsistent. The espresso tasted like regular brewed coffee. Don’t know what happened. Maybe an off day. But for those prices…?
