Came back and tried it again. Food was good but didn't justify us waiting an hour for such a simple order.

Usually one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn. HOWEVER, tonight the service really awful. Made reservations ahead. We showed up on time. Had to wait 10 minutes for a table. The water glasses were dirty and the water container has something floating in it. Had to wait over 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by the waitress. I called another waitress over and she said the actual waitress for my section should be over soon to take over. Had to wait another five until the waitress came over again to say she will take our order since the assigned waitress for the table couldn't. The complimentary chips and salsa was served san salsa. Simple order of steak and fries was brought out as "Steak and rice". Drinks were brought out late. Maybe it was a tough night for the staff but a family dinner wasn't enjoyable tonight. PS...when the check was brought waitress asked, "Oh I see an order for brownie. Do you still want that?" I NEVER ordered dessert. SMH SMH SMH!!!

I recently visited Affy's Premium Grill with my family, expecting a delightful dining experience, given its reputation for quality. Unfortunately, what we encountered was far from premium, leaving us profoundly disappointed and questioning the value for money. We ordered two New York strip steaks, anticipating a succulent, medium-cooked delight accompanied by sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes. However, mere minutes after ordering, our food arrived suspiciously fast. This was our first indication that something was amiss. Our skepticism was confirmed upon the first bite: both the steak and vegetables were shockingly cold, as if they had been pre-cooked, neglected, and then hastily reheated. The steak, which should have been tender and juicy, was tough, and the vegetables seemed like a lackluster afterthought, barely warmed through. The mashed potatoes, a staple side expected to be creamy and comforting, were hard and unpalatable. The quality of the vegetables was underwhelming, featuring a meager assortment that seemed more like a frozen mix than fresh produce.Adding insult to injury, the restaurant imposed a 15% gratuity, a standard practice for parties of certain sizes but hard to justify given the dismal quality of the food and service. Furthermore, a simple request for extra mushrooms for my child, who loves them, resulted in an additional $6 charge, which felt exorbitant for what should be a minor customization. The overall experience was disheartening. The quality of the food served at Affy's Premium Grill was nowhere near what one would expect for the price paid, nor did it live up to the "premium" in its name. For a meal that should have been a pleasant family outing, we were left with a taste of regret. For anyone in Long Island looking for a Halal steakhouse, I strongly recommend considering alternatives. Based on our experience, Sam's Steak & Grill in Valley Stream offers a far superior dining experience, where the quality of the food and the attention to customer satisfaction are evidently higher priorities. In summary, our visit to Affy's Premium Grill was a letdown. The restaurant failed to deliver the quality and service that justify its pricing, leaving us to advise potential patrons to look elsewhere for a truly premium dining experience.

Disappointing Experience at Affy's Premium GrillMy family and I recently visited Affy's Premium Grill, expecting a delightful meal, especially since we were craving New York strip steaks. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share our disappointment. We ordered two New York strip steaks, served with sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes, and asked for them to be cooked medium. To our surprise, the food was served incredibly quickly, just about 10 minutes after ordering. However, this initial surprise quickly turned into dismay. The vegetables on our plates were cold to the touch, as if they had been hastily microwaved and left to sit. The steak, which we anticipated would be the highlight of the meal, was also disappointingly cold and notably tough, a far cry from the juicy, medium-cooked steak we were looking forward to. The mashed potatoes, which one expects to be soft and fluffy, were hard and lacked flavor. It seemed as if the food had been pre-cooked and merely reheated upon order, which was a letdown, especially considering the restaurant's claim of providing premium quality. The vegetable assortment was underwhelming, comprising a few broccoli florets, some corn, and green peas, further adding to our disappointment. Moreover, the restaurant added a 15% gratuity to the bill, which felt unwarranted given the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. We also requested a little extra mushroom for our child, who loves them, only to be charged an additional six dollars, which seemed excessive for what was provided. In summary, our experience at Affy's Premium Grill was far from the premium experience we were promised. The quality of the food did not justify the price, and the service felt lacking in consideration for customer satisfaction. For those looking for a quality halal steak in Long Island, I would instead recommend Sam's Steak & Grill at 58 Rockaway Ave, Valley Stream, NY 11580, where hopefully, your dining expectations will be met.Given our experience, we will not be returning to Affy's Premium Grill and would advise potential diners to consider other options if they're in search of a truly premium meal.

Had the sizzle fajita meal…it was amazing! Excellent service, staff was extremely attentive and although my friend and I arrived toward closing we were not rushed off at all…enjoyed the entire experience.

Every single thing we ordered was delicious, including the drinks and dessert. We were a party of 4 adults and 6 kids. The fact they had a changing table in the bathroom was a plus. The staff was friendly and courteous, never once did they show they were annoyed by the kids or our requests.

Affys Premium Grill has fantastic food and I can see why they have successfully opened another location. Couple of tips- definitely make reservations, especially if it's on a Friday- Sunday. My parents and I came on a Friday and waited roughly 45 minutes- 1 hour for a table so again, make reservations! The food here, again, is delicious and comes in gigantic portions as well. My dad got the chicken stuffed with feta and spinach, my mom got the classic NY strip steak, and I got the filet mignon au poivre. Everything was great and the portions/prices were right especially considering this place is halal. For instance, the chicken was easily big enough for 2 people and was only $22. My only problem that I knocked off a star for is the service. One is that it is super spotty and you basically have to beg for someone to come to you. Two is I don't know if all the waitstaff isn't on the same page about what's on the menu but I was told that the ribs were done for the night when I wanted to order it and subsequently saw people who came after me order it with no problem...just odd. Either way, the food is solid so I'll be back but the service could use some work.

Had a reservation and they cancelled it without informing me. I went there with my family and it was embarrassing.

First time going here and the food was really tasty! Also to add the service was very quick and easy everyone was so pleasant to talk to! The ambiance is beautiful and gives a fancy vibe with black seating and neon uplighting! Definitely a great spot for fancy or just casual as well :) and do not leave without having their pina coladas - so smooth and delish!
