Really sweet and efficient staff that spoke English and Mandarin. This is a cash only restaurant , and the interior is pretty spacious and open with lots of seating. It supposedly says sushi and ramen on the menu and there's a big space up from near the front that says experimental sushi bar but there's no sushi on the menu. I got the one tsukemen dish on the menu, which you can get less spicy ($14) I think. Overall the dish was a really decently portion with a hefty amount of noodles - I think the amount of butter and then the addition of truffle oil threw me off. There were a lot of textures and I think they could've done a little less. My cousin and his wife really enjoyed their ramen with broth and skewers, so I'd def come back and try those!

Decent local area to get our ramen fix. Have ordered takeout from here as well as dined in, food is typically consistent. Having tried the Ajimi Kuro, Classic and Uwo options, my favorite so far is the Kuro with the black garlic. The takoyaki is also great. Service is polite, restaurant comfortable with a modern decor.

This has become one of my go to ramen places in brooklyn! Ramen is not bad but I wouldn't say it's the best but it does satisfy those ramen cravings! The staff is very patient and friendly. I love their salmon tartare and get it everytime! We went on a saturday afternoon and it was very slow so it was peaceful and quiet to eat our meal which I like so the ambiance is very calming. I would recommend this spot to my friends for sure!

Delicious place for ramen. Classic one is a little plain ask for sauce or oil on the side. The skewers must get squid beef and chicken skin. Baked oysters solid pass. Truffle fries were different and we would all get them again. Chicken wings yummy too.

The young girl with the pony tail is nasty. She spilled the water everywhere as she brought us the water. We asked her for napkin, she ignored and walked away. She also got mad when we asked to pack the left over. Again she intentionally spilled the soup everywhere. I really don't know what her problem was. She showed her unfriendliness as soon as we walked in. Ironically she was super nice to the Italian couple next table. Was it because we are Asians? She really needs to see a psychiatrist or take some medications. I don't know how this restaurant gets good reviews for its food. Anyone who have visited Japan would agree they were not serving Ramen, it's instant noodle for sake.

If I could give this place more stars I would. The food is fantastic and so fresh. The wait staff are so incredibly friendly and welcoming. The best ramen/Japanese bbq in the neighborhood. Oh, and they have pool on the second floor. So good! 100/10 recommend.

The broth!! I have tried countless of ramen spots around the city—some acclaimed, some that are hole-in-the-wall. At Ajimi, I will proclaim that this is the best ramen I have ever eaten. To note, this place is in south Brooklyn—we don’t have a lot of ramen spots here. Ajimi does it right. They balance the broth, ingredients, and most importantly, the taste into a harmonious experience leaving you satisfied. Fries were good.

I've visited over 5 times in the last year and the service is consistently great but ramen can be a bit inconsistent. Apps -- truffle fries and takoyaki always a must for us Ramen -- Deluxe, Miso, and Tantan all good options but we find the broth can be more diluted during some visits. Noodle texture and chasiu consitently good.

BLUF: OK; we've had better. We stopped by Izakaya Ajimi for a light and quick dinner. We ordered: - Ajimi Curry Ramen: $13.50 ($14.70 with tax). There was little curry flavor to the dish. - Pan-Fried Dumplings: $7 ($7.62 with tax). Unevenly prepared. One of the dumplings was completely charred on the bottom. The restaurant is a brightly lit space. There are two adequately maintained restrooms.

Horrible horrible service! Waitress spilled water all over the table and didn’t bother wiping it off. We had to keep calling her over for napkins. She proceeded to give us a nasty attitude. When we asked for our food to go she packed it in such a small container soup was leaking out of it. Ruined my sister’s birthday dinner.
