Food not very good. Put me near front door which is blocked by a curtain. Every time door opened I was hit with the draft. That should have been the tip off. Portions are very small and overpriced. If you want bread you must pay for it 3-4 dollars. Waiter forgot to bring me espresso martini which was served in a wine glass. First and last time I will go to this place. Not reccommended.

Couples or parties of 2 get ready to cozy up to your fellow patrons. If you need to get up tables will have to be pulled forward to let you out. Larger groups definitely have more room and spacing, but nonetheless the experience will be intimately loud. We came for the highly reviewed Coniglio (braised rabbit) which did not disappoint, but the Spaghetti Neri is a must try. The octopus was perfectly cooked and enrobed in a peppery sauce whose "slow burn" made it hard to put my fork down or prevent my partner from eating out of my plate. Their oxtail and cuttlefish appetizer is an "interesting" experience. The texture was heavy on the creamy and soft with flavors that channeled childhood memories for me, but were in conflict with each other for my partner. Thankfully, the Primitivo Orion was sublime on the palate in all the ways. If you're in the mood for a light dessert that isn't heavy on the sweetness, their panna cotta with wine infused cherries and almond biscotti is the perfect end cap. This place gets packed, so make a reservation. Our 6:45 pm booking was the sweet spot where the turnover from earlier diners gave us a little space for hand holding across the table and a mini lull to shout my man a happy birthday.

I had a very long and late dinner here with many friends and my one friend's parents. It was a beautiful atmosphere inside, very cozy. The serving staff were very very kind and helpful. I felt a bit bad because we stayed slightly after closing. However they were still very nice. The food was wonderful as were the drinks.

Al Di La is the first restaurant I went to when I first moved to Brooklyn over 7 years ago, and it is every bit as great as it was then, and still one of my favorite spots.

This is exactly what I had in mind for dinner in NYC. Fantastic northern Italian cuisine in a very cozy atmosphere. I had the squash soup and whole sea bream. Everything was delicious and fresh. Had a lovely wine too.

I ordered from this place off of doordash. They packaged my order HORRIBLY. They put the lemonade in the most flimsy cup and didn’t wrap it or separate it or do anything to stop it from falling and spilling. It was literally just placed on top and left like that. When I received the bag it broke immediately because of the spilt lemonade and my food and the drink were on the floor. I’m only upset because of the amount of incompetence. The fact that they did nothing to prevent the lemonade from spilling is honestly unacceptable for the amount of money I paid for my food. Half of the food I ordered was inedible because it was in the floor or soaked in lemonade. Honestly I’m just saying this because they need to do better. I was also only provided a $5 refund from doordash out of the $50 I spent.

Just came from a great and delicious dinner. The Ragu, ravioli omg so delicious such great flavor. The only thing we didn’t like - our server was like please hurry up and order our kitchen is closing. So we felt rushed the entire time. Our reservation was at 9 and we got there right at 9. And we sit and then 5 minutes later she tells us this. That was the only disappointing thing about the meal. Other than that food was great!

We had the orange salad, paccheri, tagliatelle, and affogato. Orange sald, paccheri, and affogato were delcious - definitely above average. Tagliatelle was good but not anything to write home about. Service was average, prices were good. A little tight seating-wise, but I would say cozy more than crowded. Would recommend!

Came here for the first time for an anniversary dinner. Overall we had a really nice time however with it being a somewhat small restaurant and it being busy we did sometimes have difficulty hearing each other talk. The food was very well made. Great quality pasta. My only negative comment about the food is that I wish the bread that came with the mussels were on the side, not soaking in the juices.

The food was very mediocre for the price. I ordered ravioli for $20 and only got 4 ravioli — that’s $5 a ravioli and they were small and greasy and bland…the service was slow which was odd since the restaurant was practically empty when we ordered. But the waitress was attentive. I was really expecting some good Italian and this was a big ripoff

Really delicious fresh pasta. Cozy restaurant, great service and ambiance. It is usually full. Reservations is highly recommended. My favorite dish is the pasta with duck and mussels. The homemade bread is crusty and tasty.

Hi, all my Yelp lovers, so I want to stop by saying how extremely disappointed I am in this establishment! I do food reviews... and I called the owner to let her know that I was coming down and she gave me the OK and I made an appointment. When we first got there. The staff was so cold, there was no greeting, there was no professionalism they were just programmed. It actually looked like they did not want to be there. I told him that we were there to do a review and they didn't even know what I was talking about. So communication was terrible. The waiter was so rude. Even the people that was sitting to tables down or complaining about him. He was not nice at all. The tables are very close together. You feel kind of on top of each other. Let's talk about the food. I ordered pork loin with potatoes and carrots. The pork was very tough and I have to say when I got a $40 bill for that I was pretty shocked. Definitely not worth $40. I feel that this place has lost its zest. I know you guys have been around for a long time but for people that do food reviews you have to do a lot more than that to impress us. You need to be on top of your game at all time and not ever feel comfortable in the food industry.very disappointed! I would think about going to this establishment.

overpriced rip off $20 for 4 raviolis that were bland and swimming in too much oil. Same with the small bowl of Brussels Sprouts that I paid $15 for, another greasy bland overcooked mess. Stay away

Ok the service was great super sweet and attentive, the ambiance was really nice and cool very park slope. The place is very popular and had a lot of locals. We took the family here for my husbands birthday and it was nice but I should have looked at something with a bit of a different menu. Two dishes were outstanding the duck with pasta and the clam pasta the rest were good but not great.
