Love this spot! My husband and I have dinner here often, and the drinks and food are always reliably spot on. It’s an unassuming mix between a speakeasy and tavern with great vibes. Forest, Taylor, and Audrey really add to those vibes without a doubt!

Stopped by Alckemy for a quite dinner and drinks.We ordered the calamari to start it was yummy and that mayo sauce is awesome . We also shared the hanger plate with 2 sides that was delicious ?! Service was great ?

Yummy cocktails and a good selection of beers and ciders. The food is also pretty decent. The burgers are a solid option, but the fries is a must. The Belgium style fries are perfectly crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and always nicely salted. Pair them along with some of their sauces/aioli's and you got yourself the perfect snack to go with your beverages. The brunch options are pretty standard and made well! The staff is always super friendly and quick with service.

Good food, friendly staff, great music being played. Will definitely be backKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome but it’s a tight space. We folded our stroller into a car seat and kept it under our table, no problem.

I spent the weekend in MV and happened upon this restaurant, it was fantastic! I don't understand the negative reviews because the environment was awesome and the food was even better.I had their slow cooked roast with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The mushrooms sauce was so delicious, it made everything perfect with the roast melting in my mouth like butter.

We went on MLK day before the Nets game. Cozy place. But we got the bill and some items weren’t at happy hour price & some were. When I asked he said that it’s a holiday and they don’t do happy hour on certain items on holiday. We obviously were going off the menu which he gave us to scan. He said the menu wasn’t updated with the holiday prices.. so not our fault, how would we know? We also weren’t told this when we were ordering these items which were very clearly on happy hour. Also some items we still got an happy hour?? Idk very confusing probably won’t go back

It was another night in Gotham guided by my Spock five a few coworkers and a dream. I think that sums it up the waitress did a phenomenal job accommodating our party size (small but loud and proud). The drinks were not watered down and the ambiance/vibe felt warm to say the least in the cold snap. I recommend if you’re looking for a drink and food if in the area.

Great food. But service was extremely lacking and rude. We ordered drinks then food, got our drinks then began to be ignored. Drinks finished and no one came to see if we wanted refills. Someone from the kitchen brought the food out, and no one comes to see if we need anything else or how everything is. We needed an extra plate and I started staring at one of the servers (server 1). The other (server 2) was too busy talking to a friend at the bar. I’m staring at server 1 for 5 minutes and the guy who brought our food sees me staring at her waiting for her to come to our seat. He taps her on the shoulder and points to me and she lifts up a finger meaning “one minute” and continues staring at her POS terminal. I wait another 10 minutes, my food starts getting cold as I’m still waiting for an extra plate and a refill of drinks. I’m literally staring at server 1, while server 2 is behind the bar and sees me starting at 1 and not caring. Finally I walked up to the bar to ask server 2 for the plate. She brings me one, and guess what? It’s dirty. I told her this plate is dirty and she grabbed me another and finally asked if I needed another drinks. All this time server 1 had still not come by after giving me the “1 minute” sign, and it’s been close to 15 min. Server 1, finally made it to our seat to refill the water but never asked “hey what did you need 20 minutes ago when I ignored you?”What the hell?
