I came by on a Friday night for some good ol' pizza. The place has an old school diner vibe with lots of outdoor tables, which was perfect because I had my pup with me. This is such a great spot to enjoy some food on a summer day. Since it was my first time, I decided to try one of every slice: Pepperoni ($6), Sausage & Pepper ($6), White with Rabe ($6), Vodka ($6), and Margherita ($5). My favorite one was surprisingly the vodka slice, which I devoured. Also loved how they topped it with some green onions, which gave it a refreshing crunch. The margherita and sausage slices were a close second while I thought the pepperoni was simple and the rabe did not give me enough flavor to compensate the lack of meat (but good if you're vegetarian). I really like how the pizza is on a focaccia style dough, so it's fluffy and pillow-y with some crisp textures. It's definitely something different from your typical pizza. The downfall is that it's quite pricey for a slice though, so a bit of a treat.

The pizza is a square slice that is crispy & light with a generous amount of toppings. The vodka slice is my favorite but the ricotta & broccoli rabe sliced is excellent as well ! They just added a round, Neapolitan style that is delicious, great crunch but could use a little more cheese‼️A must try place!

Just seems like the quality has declined. I grabbed a couple of slices the other day and when they heated them, seemed like it was too long. The pepperoni slices were kind of burned and the flavor was off. Still better than most pizza but not what it was even a year ago.

Such great pizza and gelato despite the $$ but I’m really sad they don’t have garlic knots. I have a gut feeling that they would make really good garlic knots and it feels as though the experience is being withheld from me.

This is great pizza. It's a casual slice shop, offering slices or pies with a constant aroma of the most delicious pizza that you can smell from the sidewalk. The inside is decorated nicely with a retro touch. You can sit inside, and they also have a lot of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. It's a great spot to sit and people watch or look at all the dogs that walk by. I will say the pizza is on the expensive side. However, they have unique toppings like ricotta & broccoli rabe, vodka sauce, sausage & peppers, etc. The slices are $5-$8ish and the pies are in the $35-50 range, depending on the toppings. The service is good; the employees are mostly young people who like to chat with customers while you wait for the pizza to cook in the wood-fired oven. They aren't in a rush, so if you're in a hurry, this may not be the best place for you! Baby Luc's is close to the F/G subway lines and is surrounded by great shops, bars, and other restaurants. A good spot for when you don't feel like cooking, or when you have friends over and everyone is hungry! Love this spot.

I live around the corner so have tasted all of their slices several times over the years, plus their wings at one point, and somewhat newly added meatball hero and meatballs w/ salad. Their pizza right now is superb, best it’s ever been, all of the flavors. Their staff are absolutely lovely. I love a grandma slice and I absolutely love their added pizazz use of sourdough crust for it. Maybe you haven’t tried them yet but their meatballs are out of this world delicious and I’m a bit snobby about meatballs. Their wings were EXCELLENT but a little pricey. In the beginning when they first opened I did feel certain things were slacking (too much crust, skimpy on toppings, some slices lacked flavor, overpriced for the offering) but the owner closed for a month to remedy given feedback and to ensure he delighted customers with consistent high quality. That is really honorable. Last summer I felt like their slices lacked salt but I shared the feedback and that seems to be fixed. Giving 5 stars to them because they care, listen and execute, they have good vibes, and most importantly, the food is creative, thoughtful, and delicious.

I love this slice shop. The pepperoni is quality! The pizza itself always looks hefty, but it is surprisingly light and fluffy with a good crunch. Not greasy whatsoever like so many slices I’ve had.

Good slice place. Really friendly staff, gave me a free beer when I came in. If you’re looking for a good square pizza, good place to check out. Atmosphere is really nice and although there are a lot of pizza places in the area, this is a solid choice, good combination of crispy but soft.

This place is great. My husband and I ordered delivery for the Super Bowl, and even though it took ~an hour to get to us and was lukewarm (and we didn't heat it up bc we were too hungry ) the pepperoni still hit. We also got the chicken parm sandwich. My husband ordered it and I didn't plan on having any but it was sooo good and I don't even like chicken parm.

It's a little tricky to review this place. It's basically an old school corner pizza shop. But the fresh paint and pricing made me expect more than paper plates for the pizza and a covered takeout container for the salad. That said, I enjoyed the pizza and the salad I had. The chicken add-on was a nice-sized cutlet, fresh and still crisp.Plenty of seating when I visited, Friday lunchtime.

This place is great to grab a quick slice. The pizza has a good balance of sauce to toppings. One caution: if the place is super busy, the dining area inside can get a bit smoky from all the pizzas being cooked. It smells delicious, but could bother you if you're sensitive to smoke.

As per others, I think this place suffers from being associated with Lucali's. It's a solid slice but a bit pricey for the quality. For around $6 for the slice, you can get two slices from one of the other places in the area let alone the $6.50 slices or almost $7 for the vodka slice but the slices are unique so I guess some of the price goes to that. The Margherita was alright with a particularly tasty tomato sauce with my preference easily being the Ricotta with Broccoli Rabe. The latter is more worth it for the price with the high quality ingredients and I think it was just a tastier slice even if it lacked the excellent tomato sauce. Crust has a good crunch in both. If it was a buck or two cheaper, I'd probably give them a 4 but I'll bump it down 1 for the prices.
