Offered a very good prix fixe for $45. Three courses. I can recommend the squash soup, salmon with gingered carrot puree and tarte tatin.

Was wondering if their was new ownership/management as the variety and availability has changed. Salads appear to be gone. Enjoyed new price-fixe menu but missing much from the old menu.

Love this place! Friendly staff and a nice not so overwhelming selection of eats. Quality over quantity seems to be the motto here. I will say, my portions were a little wanting this past visit, but that's not a typical issue.

5 stars! Beautiful, high quality, professional and affordable. We cannot express enough how ecstatic we were with Bacchus hosting our wedding. This was the absolute best decision we could have made. Not only were they extremely affordable with highly competitive pricing for the area, but the quality of the food, treatment, service and venue was unbeatable. Our dream Brooklyn wedding was made a reality (in only 8 months!) because of Bacchus. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond. Each and every one of them. They were completely hands on every step of the way and covered every detail, even the ones we didn’t think of. Our decor was assembled and put up for us. All the drinks we wanted were served. Every allergy (and there were many) was perfectly accommodated. The wine selection was top tier! Thank you, Kaza! And the food!! Wow! Chef’s kiss. Our guests continue to talk about it to this day.The space is so minimalistic, beautiful and rustic. Very little needed to be added to complete our vision. We were even supplied with a beautiful cage for our cards so we did not have to buy our own. My guests were so well taken care. WE were so well taken care of! They were with us every step of the way and with the best and kindest attitudes, it’s almost hard to believe.A very special thank you to Meryl for her leadership, kindness, attention to detail and cool control. Her support was truly priceless and allowed us to just be present on our special day. We could not recommend Bacchus more. Truly. A million thanks and a lifetime of memories made. We’ve shared some of our favorite pictures to reflect our deep gratitude.Sincerely,Chrystelle & Ra

I always enjoy a meal at Bacchus, in general they hit the mark on good food across the board. On the last 2 occasions however, the service seems rushed, or arrival times between apps and main course either crushed together, or nearly 20 to 30min apart. Also the wait staff seems overwhelmed, rushing your food to the table and plopping it down with little fan fair, or patience to attend to your tables needs once food arrives, they plop the plates down and rush off. Then one has to wait until the waitstaff appears again to request another drink, or a forgotten condiment. They just seem overwhelmed by the compartmentalization of the 3 different dinning rooms, with out seemingly having 1 or 2 wait staff dedicated to each of the 3 different dinning rooms. Rarely is the same waitstaff that took your order the one that returned to tend to your table, leaving doubts about what the dinner guests have ordered, or may need in order to compliment their meal experience. Discombobulated would best describe here. Otherwise, it's a neighborhood gem with great food.

Been a very happy, satisfied customer for years. Not overly expensive, and the quality of everything is outstanding. Service too. Knowledgeable, super friendly staff. Wine list is very interesting. Check out the bottled wine specials on Thursdays...

Great food , if they didn't add a 3.5% convenience fee I would have given the restaurant 5 stars. I asked the waiter but he couldn't speak enough English to explain it to me, the service was a bit slow but we had a great time

Nice, cozy, quiet bistro. I ordered skate fish and it was excellent. Good service: we were in a bit of a rush, but had no difficulty finishing our dinner in slightly more than an hour. The hostess speaks with a slight French accent, which somehow adds to the authenticity.:)

Went here for New Year's Eve. Paid $95 per person for an absolutely horrible experience. We had been here a few years ago for New Year's Eve, and in comparison, this was just awful in every possible way. The restaurant had tables jammed together, and if it wasn't for our demand to change the table, it would have been an even worse experience. The glass of wine was bitter. The server was not trained, did not even know what was in their soup appetizer when asked if there was cream or not (at first she said none, but there was), the portions were minuscule and tasted abysmal, the “filet mignon” was an imitation swimming in brown sauce (not demi-glace), and the deserts (molten cake and cognac crème brûlée) were cold and tasteless. For $250, this meal was one of the worst experiences that we ever had, and I do not write this lightly.

We did a buyout of Bacchus's wine room (for cocktail hour) and dining room (for dinner) to celebrate our elopement with our friends and family. It was an intimate affair with only 37 of us dining that evening and was an absolutely perfect evening, from the food, the drinks, the coordination, music and more. Meryl, who worked with us to plan our event, was incredible and made our vision for the evening come true.Planning & Coordination: Meryl was fantastic. She was attentive in talking through our plans for the evening and flexible with accommodating any special asks for the evening to really make the event special for our guests. She was especially helpful in figuring out the right seating arrangement for our guests to ensure that the room felt connected and cohesive. Communication was so easy and all the final planning in the days leading up to the event was done so effortlessly that when the day came, there was nothing to worry about. We were able to enjoy the evening with our guests.Food: Excellent. Our guests LOVED the food. We served the meal family style so everyone had a little bit of everything. We have friends that are saying they'll go back for dinner soon.Staff: The staff was amazing, they were attentive and well-coordinated. Everything flowed so well.Atmosphere: It was a really sweet, intimate, romantic evening. We had lots of candles everywhere (both supplied by myself and Bacchus) and it made the room look so beautiful. If you ever need to host an intimate dinner in Brooklyn, I highly recommend inquiring with Bacchus. Or if you just want to have a delicious dinner (or brunch), definitely go too! I cannot wait to go back.photos taken by: @carissajoy.photo (IG)

Wonderful Christmas dinner with an appetizer main course and dessert . Service was great and we could have a conversation. I do this every year at Christmas. Reasonably priced and I am able to get a reservation. Highly recommend it.
