The best muffin I ever ate!I'm not a big review writer, but I love to make an exception for Beets Café.I was visiting NYC and Brooklyn the last week and discovered this little place near our Airbnb. The staff was so friendly. I ordered a chai latte and a banana muffin with nuts and it was seriously the best muffin I ever ate. I promised to come back before I had to catch my plane back to Belgium, and so I did. I hate flying - but it was nice to have this delicious gem with me.Carol

It being winter and myself being Haitian I’ve been searching for a good bowl of soup joumou to have on Sundays. I recently came to beets cafe and ordered bowl, I did have to wait as a new batch was being prepared however it was well worth it! The soup came vegetarian, this was perfect as I am pescatarian myself. The broth was smooth spicy and hardy with all the veggies and pasta and potatoes. It was just what I needed for Sunday lunch only thing that could’ve made this meal better was piece of bread to dip in it.
Beets cafe feels good as soon as you walk in. Cute hole in the wall with super friendly people and high quality products. Some of the best patties I've had.

Thank you Beets Cafe' Team for offering the sample of the delicious vegan pumpkin soup. We just had to order after trying. The staff is friendly and courteous and they have traditional Haitian patties and vegan food that reminds me of my family's own cooking!

Great customer service, great food, diverse options on the menu. A little slow as they chopped fruit up for part of my order (like repeatedly check watch over the span of ~10 minutes, not, 'this took 3 minutes instead of two') but nothing outrageous enough to warrant a lower rating.Great spot.
Rude and overpriced! I’m a macchiato girl, live in the neighborhood and thought I’d give this “new” establishment a go… they didn’t have my coffee preference prized on the wall (macchiato) and when the owner told the cashier to charge it as a latte, I intercepted with a tip of what macchiato is usually prized giving the across the street price as an example ( after all I’d be happy to become a regular but this is my regular order and thought they should know it’s never same price as latte) instead I was replied with rudeness and dismissive comments like “well our ice coffee is $… and this is a black own business so you should pay whatever the price is to support it… ? anyway, for the vegan pattie and smoothie lovers - this establishment seems to be a gem :-) so I’m happy they are here. However I’ll avoid it for my coffee fix!

LOVE the Haitian patties!!!!!!!! Cutest hole in the wall. My favorite was the codfish patty. It had the right amount of spice.

One of my favorite cafes in Brooklyn, however, they forgot to send me the turmeric and ginger shot which I really needed because I have COVID19, I called and they said that I have to call Uber so I can get credit. What? It was them who forgot the item, they should at least have the courtesy to give me a credit for next time!
