My first time here with a friend visiting from Italy. We went in on a Wednesday and they charged us $12 each to get in because they have DJ playing which is absolutely insane. Usually they have a band but us paying for a DJ !!! Is insane . So $24 to get in right even if we don’t even care for the DJ . We get in and it’s already $16 for drinks each and $18 for food THEN $30 for bowling. Which we don’t even get to bowl because they closed bowling at 9:45 when we asked to bowl around 8:50… In total you’ll end up spending $90 just to enjoy. I don’t recommend this place. I already think it’s unnecessary for people to walk in and pay $12 each for a DJ ???? I could see if it’s a live performance but such a rip off I was very upset

Charged twice, though bought beer only once. Called them, they gave me an email address to send my claim, but that address doesn't exist - it replied. Niw I have to block my cc and wait for replacement. Very unfair of them!

Best place to indulge in jam band culture in New York City

Came here for a “women in salsa” show and it was a great space for live music and dancing. I also loved how they set up a display for an archival instillation when you walk in. Coming back for a night of bowling and to check out the food.

Brooklyn Bowl, in Greenpoint Brooklyn, is a bowling alley with an attached stage and some open area for people to stand and watch the performers. My wife and I went to see the band, Red Baraat. The doors open at 6 and the show at 8 PM. However, the Red Baraat were not supposed be playing until 9:30 PM. I wish, I would have paid attention to this little detail before buying the tickets. We got there at 6. The opening show did not start until 8:15. We left at 9 PM, without watching the show, which we were there to watch. My take on Brooklyn Bowl is this. If you want to bowl, or just hangout with your friends to have drinks and food, it is a great place. However, it should not be place to consider to watch your favorite bands. The bowling does not stop while the show is going on. The audio is terrible. You can watch standing only, to me that’s a deal breaker. Last but not the least, Greenpoint Brooklyn is very hard to reach place, if you are coming from NJ or even Staten Island. By the time you finish your commute on the treacherous 278, you will be so tired that you would want go back.

Absolutely shambolic management. Brain dead phone guys on reception completely unhelpful and told me the wrong information for the event and said they had no tickets on the door, causing us to waste money on a service fee and telling friends not to come. Coat check an absolute mess. Absolute cheese vibe.

Restaurant section had appalling table service, is rude too. By taking your food away before you finished and a very squashed table full of other people, talking over each other. A poor experience. The waitress was extremely rude and tactless. $12 for a tiny milkshake. Security, hardly welcoming and a little confrontational. Went to see a band I loved as a kid. Ruined. All in all not a good music venue.

Best bowling in NYC!! The staff are very nice, kind, respectful and helpful. They are so nice. The music for children's and family hours 11-5 was great too, they have hula hoops and other toys. The singers were really good at singing! The food was great as well. The cheeseburger was so delicious. The Mac and cheese was awesome and the chicken tenders were great too. Very clean and neat. Nice aesthetic too. 5 stars please visit!!

Brought a croissant in for my 3 yo, the waitress waited until she took a bite to let us know that outside food incurs a charge of $30 that was then added to our tab. This is after we Cool, guys.
