Hojicha latte - meh Chocolate hazelnut mousse - 5 stars Cheesecake soufflé - 4 stars Little sweet stop before heading back home after a Costco visit. I was expecting more from the hojicha latte, but it was made poorly and hastily. No foam. The other desserts made it worth it. The chocolate hazelnut mousse being the favorite!

I saw their post about Sakura Macarons on Instagram and had to try them for myself. The post mentioned that the macarons were available for a limited time only (until April 30th). I stopped by the shop yesterday just before they closed and bought one of each of the Sakura Macarons (red bean and cherry jam flavors). The macarons were a bit pricey at $4.25/ea. I liked both but my favorite was the Sakura Macaron with cherry jam. It wasn't too sweet and a little tart just the way I like it. The service was great. I'm happy the lady behind the counter still took my order even though they were closing. The ambiance is cool. The pastry/dessert shop is located on the first floor right by the entrance to Japan Village.

Prepare to leave with a bitter taste in your mouth despite all the treats from this dessert cafe. All thanks to terrible customer service.I came here for a hojicha latte and had such an uncomfortable experience with the barista (short hispanic woman). From taking my order, to making my drink, and the snarky comments in between. It all felt super hostile, sarcastic, and rude. When I paid in cash ($5.75, I gave 4 dollar bills and $0.75 in coins), she said “I don’t have use of these coins”. Why was this comment necessary? And why did it matter as a paying customer?I then asked if I could get my latte extra hot. She responded with, “I’ll try my best” in a super sarcastic tone. I’ve been a barista myself before, so I totally understand the feeling of special requests. But, projecting your negativity or bad day to your customers is extremely uncalled for.To make things worse, I asked her for her name (so I can give the head manager feedback). She responded with, “I don’t give out personal information”. Which again, is completely understandable. It’s the way she said it that came off super standoffish.I don’t usually write reviews, but given the absurd way I was being treated as a frequent customer, I thought it’d be necessary as a heads up to everyone else who decides to come here.

Sadly, it was really bad--customer service- not busy but i have to wait long time because she was not moving her hand talking personal story to co workers and when i asked some questions about tea she wasn't nice. Drink ($6) tast like hot water.

Came back and ordered a matcha latte and chicken katsu sandwich. This was made perfectly and tasted delicious! The chicken katsu sandwich was mayo heavy for me. I actually had to use a fork to scrape a lot of the mayo off. The bread was soft, the meat was good, and the potato salad was tasty. I just wish there was more tonkatsu sauce and less mayo on the actual sandwich. The two girls working that day were both so kind and friendly! They also sell Japanese milk bread and I'm so upset that I forgot to purchase it.

I don't want to be mean, but their Usu-cha ? was sooo bitter and powdery ? its either low quality matcha or its just too oxidized. I don't think they whisked it either, no foam or any bubbles on top. Maybe their matcha latte is better & the desserts look so yummy, but I still gotta try them myself!

Ordered a matcha strawberry milk with oat milk. The consistency of the drink was thick and tasteless. I wouldn’t recommend or order again from here. In addition to the drink being a waste of money, the service was not memorable.

I ordered a strawberry matcha latte that taste like strawberry milk. Did not have a strong matcha taste nor did it look anything like the pic posted. It was very disappointing. The service was poor, based on how my drink was made. My husband said if she was dedicated to her job then your drink wouldn't taste like crap. Which I understood because my business was an inconvenienced to the worker. As I was waiting for my drink, I saw her ignore customers and focus on bagging cookies. When a kind man got the worker attention. To kindly inform her that someone was standing at the register. The staff looked at the lady at the register and rolled her eyes at the man. This should've been my sign to get a refund on this overprice drink and run away. My advice is go far far far away from this place. If u want a drink, Starbucks is 3 doors down and they are consistent with their drink. Also they opened a new dessert place upstairs. We went on a weekday (Monday afternoon) and it was not busy.

I would recommend going to another vendor in the market. There's just one worker as the cashier and barista, so the wait is pretty long. I got a hot matcha latte. While it was pretty affordable and I liked that it wasn't sweetened, I was quite disappointed. The matcha powder they used was more green than brown, and extremely bitter even after adding several sugar packets. I didn't get to try the cakes but they looked pretty good.

Wanted my daughter to enjoy a nice snack, she destroyed the strawberry shortcake and I appreciate the cashier for giving my daughter some strawberry Pocky sticks. Their deserts would go great was some hot fresh lattes which they have here but I wasn’t in the need for coffee at the moment. Give it a shot!

Got the Yuzu Calpico Shaved Ice and it's not really like how it's usually served. The serving was also a little lackluster and those are not rainbow fruit jellies like they said were on it lol. It does taste quite good still but ya know, could definitely be better overall

I had the ice chai latte which was refreshing and you could taste the chai which is a big deal to me.For desserts we had the mango pudding, chestnut cream cake, and green tea tiramisu. The best dessert amongst me and my friends was the mango pudding. It was very refreshing especially for a nice day. There was a little mango pieces in it which made it tastier. The chestnut cream cake was decent. There was nothing spectacular about it to make it stand out. The green tea tiramisu was pretty decent after a few bites it was really good. I will say it's an acquired taste.Service was quick and the ambience was perfect. They had their own little stand so you could sit and finish your desserts or drinks.

Always get something from here when I visit. The chicken katsu sandwich is a MUST. This time I also got a matcha lemonade (?) can't remember the name and it was delicious!! Also got a sakura panna cotta and it was out of this world!!!! Staff was very quick and efficient. Wanted to get a sakura macaron but I was way too full!

The stall specializes in Japanese sweets. There was only one person working at the stall.I felt the items are quite expensive for their size, so I ended up with an almond cookie. The cookie was buttery and soft with a layer of carmelized almonds.
