It was my birthday and made reservation. We got there early so went inside and talked to bold guy (assume he was the manager). Told him we got here early is there any way can we sit, he told me he will check it our and let me know. At the same time 2 more people were there without reservation and they wanted to sit. Since my wife and friends were in the car (it was raining and cold) I sat in the car and waiting for his phone call. After 45 min waiting I decided to go inside and talk to him and I got mad because I realized he did made other 2 groups of people sat while we were waiting in the car. When I asked him about them, he got smart I was so mad and say something bad to bold guy-manager but since it was my birthday I let it go but I WILL NEVER GO THERE again and tell all my friends how he treated us and tell them not to go this restaurant...

The quality of food has gone down, although the prices have gone up. I frequent this restaurant at least once every other week if not every week with my family. Very disappointed in all the food tonight from the pizza to apps & to entrees. I could go to other restaurants in the area & get better quality for the price (dinner was over $300 for 6 people). The service was subpar as well. I don’t think I’ll be visiting campania in bay ridge in the near future.

I had shrimp and pasta. No Angel hair pasta,; the shrimp was raw and they said it was broiled and they had been broiled but now put in oven which they did but since they were frozen to begin with, they still didn't taste right. When they gave me my shrimp, they confused my fish with her fish. Not a good practice. Too many ppl are sick. My girlfriend order something different but I ate while my girlfriend was waiting for her food. They had a different menu for lunch which they never said but the menu changed at 3 pm. Never did that before. Trying to figure out menus was a horror. The air conditioning was waay too high for this time of year. Everything was changed. Never had a problem with their food before. Was not a good experience at all. This was first time ever that I had such a bad experience. I didn't finish my food. I was disgusted by then. The bread and butter was what I basically had and paid a lot for food. What happened to this restaurant? Sad story.
Very attentive staff and delicious food. Well done! Beet salad and pizza was so great. The alcoholic drinks were okay and we could have done without them for the price paid.

Savero the host is great — he gave my elderly mom a chair to sit down on while we waited for a table as she just had knee surgery. The food is really great. The baked clams were freshly shucked not frozen. The pastas were prepared perfectly, the pizza was excellent and the service was great. We will be coming back often!
