Great stop for tasty, authentic Haitian cuisine. Clean. Friendly, professional staff that actually make you feel welcome and appreciated, as a customer. Fresh food. And even sustainable packaging. I've never been disappointed with the food. Their rice and beans as well as the white rice and sausse pois are great, particularly if you're a vegetarian, like I am.My only feedback might be that the portions could be a bit more generous however the overall experience has been top notch, EVERY VISIT.Vegetarian options: White rice, brown rice and beans, pureed beans, vegetables, and salad.

I had the medium Fritay platter and the large alongWith two orders of legume with white rice the lady was extremely kind supplied me with extra Pikliz and a side of baked macaroni ! Honestly worth the drive the experience the food everything deserves 10 starsKid-friendliness: I came with my 7 and 4 year old and staff was very friendly and kind

Cozy and loving place. The food is Delicioussss. They treat you like you're at home. I'm from the island and this place makes me feel at home every time I visit it. Whether it is a birthday celebration, date night with your significant other, graduation, funeral, intimate small wedding reception, etc., this place is THE place for you. The owner is very flexible with your needs and makes your special night super memorable. A plus: there's a dancing floor to digest the food or get cozier with the date. Carlie's Corner is MY fave restaurant. Recommend to all! You won't regret it.

Today was my first time buying food from this fine restaurant. I had a taste for legume with lambi. Most Haitian restaurants seem to only have Haitian customers when I go so it's assumed that we all speak creole. When I told them I didn't they were still cool and friendly lol because hey not all Haitians speak the language. They didn't have legume with lambi but said they would prepare it for me... we'll lemme tell you that it is DELICIOUS. The lambi was cooked to perfection and so very tender and was WAY better than that expensive place in Lefferts Garden. I will definitely go back for more and have already told my friends how I love the legume.

The older women here are nasty and rude. The only nice one is the guy who speaks Spanish and the younger girl. They just lost a customer for rudeness. I use to always order from here.

I had the pleasure of trying Haitian food for the first time at Carlie’s Corner. They were able to make me a meat and dairy free meal with rice/beans and plantains. I was amazed at how flavorful the rice was- the spices were perfect. I will be back again!

I got this recommendation from a childhood friend. They hooked me up with some wonderful black rice (the famous rice for Haitian cuisine) . I had a big catering platter for this friendsgiving. They are just starting the business. Great location in this plaza, you can park your car and get some hair product nearby or can go to the supermarket or cash your check. Definitely in a greatly convenient place . I had some meat ready seasoned at home to bring along with the rice. The whole catering bowl was finished that same night.
