Casa Maria’s a great family restaurant. Had tacos Al Pastor and Tacos de carne enchilada which the meat was so meaty and tender. My wife had the plate of Milanesa de pollo & she enjoyed every bite of it. We highly recommend this family restaurant, they make you feel like at home with a nice enjoyable warm and cooked meal. Also can’t forget about the bartender behind the bar ! Killed it with the drinks, frozen margaritas were on point might have had two or three of them ( don’t really remember ?).

Update:We went in person to eat and the waitress was really sweet. Our food came out fast and was delicious. No complaints there.The alcoholic drinks were a hit or miss. I ordered a frozen Mango Margarita which tasted too much like ice. They did it in a blender and overdid it with ice. My husband had the Jalapeño margarita on the rocks and it was good. We ordered the Kids Menu Chicken fingers and it was breaded chicken cutlets cut up in strips, but we loved it! You can tell it was freshly made in the restaurant and not from a Frozen Jetro Bag.Then we ordered a 2nd time for delivery: Steak Nachos and again the chicken fingers with fries. The nachos were generous and the delivery came fast which we appreciated. They also put a generous dallop of Guac on top of the nachos which was nice.Original:I give this restaurant 3.5 stars (not 4 stars, nor 3 stars). First timé trying them out. Never been inside so I don’t know what it looks like. This is for a delivery order.The pros: They accept credit card over the phone. Since we live 1/2 mile away, the food arrived hot and fresh and within the time they promised. They were generous with the meat topping on my Huarache. The guacamole was fresh and good. The meats used in both dishes seemed freshly cooked and both dishes were nicely assembled. So we decided to skip platters and go with cheaper options - but it was still expensive.The food was hit or miss:The burrito had tons of rice and beans and barely any meat - which is upsetting when you’re paying $13+ for it. Also my husband said it had no flavor- so he added salt.The chips and guacamole: they sent very little amount of chips for the amount we paid. Very disappointed as that’s usually a cheap item. The guacamole was sufficient and had leftover since we didn’t have enough chips to eat it with.My huarache was delicious. They put lots of meat, which felt fair since it was $13 or so. It was big too. Worth the price.We may order again whenever we don’t have any cash on us because they take cards; but it won’t be often as it is expensive.
Casa Maria's had delicious food and great drinks! Finally a restaurant in Midwood worth revisiting! Very clean and super nice staff.

I’m sorry but the food wasn’t so great . I was very excited to eat here since it’s near by but the food wasn’t good maybe cause it just opened but the chicken for enchilada was so black and tasteless . The bistec had no flavor , plain and tasteless. The chicken fingers weren’t even chicken fingers , they’re pieces of milanesa de pollo . Not a big deal but still , there’s a difference .
