Champs is always a great way to start our end the day. Fantastic food, people and vibes. I've been coming here for years with my family and appreciate all of the memories that we've been able to build here.

I tried the B.E.C. and it hit the spot. I always love ordering their cheese sticks, but I wish I had received more than just four pieces for thirteen dollars when I went on the morning of New Year's Day 2023.

My daughter and I were visiting New York for the holidays and went to champs diner for breakfast. The food was delicious. The staff was nice and helpful and the restaurant was clean and fun. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This is a vegan restaurant. But it's pretentious vegan - trying to mimic non-vegetarian dishes as vegan. Just that the service was good - the staff were sensitive to allergies. Not recommended.

It’s 100% vegan and they have lots of gluten free options. This spot is low key, just a began diner basically. The cheese is not made of cashews FYI in case you have a cashew allergy like me

Love going to Champs Diner! Recently moved to Williamsburg so I've been coming here more often. The food is always delicious!!! Definitely not cheap, but I know it's not cheap to serve vegan diner food in NYC. Fun atmosphere! They could definitely use more dining space so it's not such a rush to get people in and out quickly. Just had the pumpkin spice chicken & waffles special and it was amazing! Everyone enjoyed their food. Can't wait til next time!

A dream come true for someone that is pescatarian and dairy free! I'm already used to meat and dairy substitutes, so nothing about this place is off putting or "out of the usual" for me. Lots of options, fairly priced and cozy/casual. Expect a wait, especially on a weekend. Enjoyed my meal and didn't have to fuss with customizing like I usually do at other restaurants. Disclaimer: if you don't necessarily have dietary restrictions, take everything I said with a grain of salt Most people than can eat freely are off-put by meat and cheese substitutes

Made a same day reservation at Champ’s for a late breakfast (2pm). Was super packed so definitely recommend making one before stopping by on the weekend. Had the breakfast grand slam and it was amazing! Chocolate chip pancakes, sausage and bacon, tofu egg scramble, and hash browns. All good and came out pretty fast! Eggs Benedict were also delicious. Portions are large and service was attentive!

The food was amazing. The service by Krista was nothing short of extraordinary. The sexy rotation of music made the ambience incredible. If you're in New York make your way the Champs diner. We are from California and we enjoyed every minute here.

I am not vegan but I absolutely love this place. I have a very picky vegan daughter that swears by Champs Diner. Philly cheese steak, Mac and cheese and the vegan cheese cake are amongst my favorite!

Been going here for many moons. It was fun to revisit this delightful vegan joint last night for my birthday dinner! Stephan (I probably spelled that wrong?) our server and the new gm was very nice and fun. Our food was delicious! The vibe was as I remember it. Looking forward to trying the new deserts from their bakery!

always hate to give a negative review, but the patty melt i had was extremely underwhelming. the onion rings on it were unchewable, i dont know how that even happens. the bread kind of sucked, and i think they forgot to put the "homemade steak sauce" or barely put any, was very dry. even the patty seemed dried out, which is crazy because it is just impossible meat, not sure if it was overcooked or what. pretty disappointed as this place used to be fine, but for nearly $20 this was a bummer. next time will stick with something breakfast for sure

First of all they let you make reservations for guests for tables that can't accommodate the amount of guests you can bring. They charge 20% gratuity for parties larger than 5 pretty standard but with that comes laziness and the waitress definitely let us know that she knew we had no control over the tip. She rushed us to order and acted most of the time like we were bothering her by being customers. Menu says chicken and waffles available till 5 my daughter ordered before 5 and was told "we don't do that now" why's it on the menu then? All in all just another place that knows because they serve vegan stuff people won't have a choice so they just coast by and don't do anything to deserve loyalty the food was honestly sub par everyone at the table was like Eh even the hardcore vegan at the table only ate half her food and that made her stomach hurt just bad all around

This is my first time here... Lots of things were not on the menu unfortunately so I ended up getting the impossible burger and it was pretty good... I think the patties like everything else has been shrunken and the price has been increased .. wish they would carry onion rings or sweet potato fries. everyone else seems to of enjoyed their meal.

While staying in Brooklyn, my wife's cousin took us out to eat here. My wife is vegetarian so they looked up good places and they found this had a lot of good reviews. Food was excellent! I didn't even know it was vegan (as for the eggs, cheese, etc). Me and her cousin ordered the enchilada and my wife ordered a Reuben- because it is hard to come by and she's been craving a Rueben for the longest! All the food was so good, I'm very satisfied with my choice. I was a little saddened about the coffee. I just wanted some regular cream or even milk to put in my cup but they only had soy or oat milk. It was okay and I get that it was all vegan. Another thing I was kinda disappointed about was the seating. We got there early and waited for her cousins fiancée, but the lady told us we must wait outside until the full party is here. I get it they want to seat people but we were planning on purchasing food and drinks. It wasn't like we weren't going to. I felt bummed because if there was no where to sit we may have went somewhere else. You would think they'd want the business and just seat people. And the sign outside said you can't stand on the ramp, yet there were people standing and waiting on the ramp, ultimately taking the table we could have had if we were seated. Rant over. I would come back again for the food though.
