Ceres, the proprietor of the spot, is a categorical delight. Easy in her delivery and genuine in her conversation, she, the well-crafted menu, and the approachable digs are the reason this wine bar is treasured in the neighborhood.

it’s a cute wine bar, but it seems that whoever is in charge doesn’t understand that that’s all it is. my group came because they advertised a disco party and we made the silly mistake of assuming that there would be dancing at an event that played dance music. instead, the place was packed with tables and people standing around the bar. although there was a large rooftop space upstairs, there was no sound system.i’m just confused as to who the target audience for this event was— there was no space for people who liked the music to dance, but nobody who wanted to sit and talk could be heard over the music. eventually they cleared away a few tables, but by that point it was too little too late.this is simply a card-only wine spot for 30 year old yuppies who are gentrifying the area- no more, no less.

Cute spot for lovely natural wine. This place is all about the vibe, especially if you’re a wine lover. The rooftop is super charming, especially for a date. They offer light snacks to eat while you’re drinking the wine but I wouldn’t say people go there for the food - it’s more of a wine experience. The service is good too, they take the time to explain the wines.

Went for a glass of wine with friends. Staff was absolutely miserable. She poured us the wrong drinks and we didn’t even feel like we could say anything about it without getting an even more intense scowl. Went upstairs and they were hardly any better. I really wanted to like the place because the music and atmosphere was so fun but every staff interaction just gave me such bad energy.

Cool wine bar with an awesome rooftop. The bartender was super friendly and helpful in recommending something given that I’m not that big of a wine drinker. Music on the rooftop was a little louder and clubbier than I would have expected for such a pleasant roof, but not a dealbreaker.

The top crew was nice although they didn't accept cash so had to walk downstairs to pay. First time the ladies didn't have change so we left them $5. Second time the bartender downstairs was rude and said she doesn't have change so less $10. Didn't say she is sorry or offer anything. Dismissive and unpleasant staff downstairs. Won't be back there.
