Did this place close. I hope not - really the best thai food in the area but it hasnt seemed to be open at all these last few weeks.

Best Thai food I've ever had - I love and highly recommend their Tom yum soup! The sweetest people work here too!

The best Thai food in the hood. Wonderful couple working there making delicious food, and if you ask for it 'Thai Spicy' they will absolutely not play games with the spice level. You are warned.

Fantastic Thai food restaurant in Brooklyn. Reminds me of the great Thai food I get in Seattle. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem. Quality food, reasonable prices, friendly service, and - best of all - actually well-spiced meals. I love this spot, and at this point I stop by about once a week for takeout.

Not sure why Chongkho isn’t one of those everyone knows and loves it “hidden gem” restaurants. Their food is so good.A visit to Brooklyn without Chongkho would be incomplete. A visit to Chongkho without their curry puffs would be incomplete.Their curry puffs are wonderful. Shatteringly crispy and generously filled. The sauce that accompanies is addictive as well. I poured a generous amount of the sauce with each bite of the curry puffs and had a little left over to drink. We also ordered the green curry which has the most wonderful flavor. I haven’t tried their other curries, but if they’re anything like the green curry, they must be wonderful choices. Go with the green curry if your indecisive! I ended up straight up sipping the the broth because it was that good.We ordered the thai salad, but it could honestly be skipped. It’s just raw veggies with peanut sauce which isn’t bad, just not great. The vegetables themselves were crisp and fresh though! and the fried tofu soaks up the curry perfectly. Of course their rice is cooked perfectly.

So good I'm getting emotional thinking about it. We got takeout for our last meal in Brooklyn and I regret not eating here earlier. And that this level of Thai food isn't available everywhere. Do yourself a favor and get their curry puffs- the wrapping is thick, fluffy, and crispy and the filling is flavorful and generous. The sauce that it comes with is incredible and even with a generous pour over each bite, I had some leftover, which I drank and ate with the other dishes. Any visit to Chongkho without an order of the curry puffs would be amiss. The green curry is so good and I ended up sipping quite a bit of the broth too. If you're indecisive about what curry to order, this is a perfect choice. Of course, their rice is cooked perfectly. We did order the thai salad to add some vegetables to our meal, but honestly, you can skip this. It's just raw vegetables with peanut sauce, which is fine but I wish we tried one of the other salads. The fried tofu is great for soaking up green curry with, if that counts for anything. For the sheer quality and flavor of food, Chongkho delivers great value.

Really authentic thai food. This is my first time trying this place and this has become one of my favorite spots! I got the massaman curry with rice, it was really good. The sauce was rich in flavor and a bit spicy. My friends got the red curry over rice and drunken noodles and those were good as well. We wanted to try the purple lemonade but sadly they didn't have it that day, so we got the Thai tea instead and highly recommend getting it when you are here. For appetizer, we got the curry puff which came with 2 of them and a side of sauce. Sauce gave the puff a vinegary taste which I loved. Overall nice and friendly staff, have a good amount of seatings and would come back again to try the other dishes

Nice place. This is a great sit down or takeout joint. The food is quickly cooked no matter what and they really hit all the staples: drunken noodles (bomb), eggplant basil (best in the area), pad see ew (beautifully gummy), and they also will do whatever spice level you ask for. If ask for hot it'll be proper, ask for mild it'll still be delicious. Ask them for a beer in restaurant it'll come cold and alongside a great meal. Can't recommend enough

Everything I've ordered has been tasty but hands down, they have the best Tom Kha Kai soup. I found them during Covid and have become a regular. Family owned and operated, very kind people making excellent food.

Great new Thai place in Brooklyn. When we showed up the place was empty. We were a bit nervous but decided to stay. Definitely shouldn't be empty at dinner time! Had great Tom Yum soup and Green Curry. Don't let them stay empty!

I LOVE this place. I can’t believe I’ve lived down the street for 3 years and just found out how good this place was only a month ago.The flavors are amazing, it’s a weekly staple for me - between the pad kra pow and the pad kra tiem. Both delicious. The soup is amazing as well.VERY spicy! Even the mild :)The ladies are so sweet and I look forward to eating this every Sunday.

Just went back for my 2nd time. Food is the best. If I lived nearby I'd eat here 5x per week. Get the green curry, it's delicious and they use a great selection of vegetables, not just the typical boring stuff found in every other Thai place. The owners are so nice. They've been cooking Thai food nearly 40 years, now they have their own restaurant. The care and pride. shows. Thank you. I will be back.1st visit: I'm still sitting here, and already thinking about the next time I can come back. Food is just perfect really. Red curry was delicious, with a nice mix of vegetables.

The closest I've had to meals in Thailand - very authentic. The food can be served very spicy, only if you want it to be Thai spicy. Also, the owners are so incredibly kind. I come back not only for the food but to see/support them :). To the person who gave a bad review simply because of the recent price increases...do you live under a rock?

A great neighborhood business with delicious food. Their drunken noodles are a perfect dish after a long day. Happy to support!
