The hand rolls here were so good that I’ve been thinking about them a lot since I had lunch there a few weeks ago. My son and I agreed that the yellowtail and scallion was the best of the four we had, but they were all great.
I recommend all the scallop rolls. They’re so sweet and delicious. Only downside is that the rice was warm so the nori got soggy, a bit of a bummer since they’re not cheap. I ordered some other rolls too, they tasted ok. Not long after, I got a stomachache though.

I loved eating at Daigo through COVID and a year after, but they've increased prices a lot while the fish quality has gone down. It's unfortunately just not worth it. I went last week and got the special bowl and it's ok. Not worth the $29 but not a rip off. I just left feeling disappointed and missing the old Daigo.

Amazing quality and quick, friendly service! I did not expect to find such good sushi in a food hall. I got the spicy scallop, salmon cucumber, and snow crab avocado hand rolls and they were all amazing.

Inside a busy food hall, this place still stands out. It is hard to find this quality of fish in NYC. The scallops in particular were stellar. They had the soft consistency, sweetness, and total lack of fishy flavor you expect from scallops straight out of the trap. Props to Daigo for sourcing such quality ingredients. The people working there were very kind and efficient. I thought the lunch deal (3 rolls plus miso) for $20 was good value, especially considering the quality of the experience. Thank you Daigo!

Really high quality handrolls and seafood. The service was so fast, and it was delicious. Love that you got to stand and eat over the counter. If you don't like that you can still get the food and find a table to sit down at nearby. Highly recommend! The value was also

Came to Dekalb market just to try this spot. We went around 12pm on a Saturday and there were plenty of standing counter spots open. We ordered Toro, botan ebi, and scallop yuzu hand rolls which came out literally in 30 seconds. Every single one was excellent!! From freshness to flavor to the quality of the rice, and prices were very reasonable when considering that everything is a little overpriced in dekalb market. My personal favorite was the scallop yuzu but my bf really liked how well the shiso leaves went in the botan ebi. Would def come back!
My wife and I ordered several hand rolls including uni, hamachi and tori. The seafood was all very fresh, but the nori was slightly soggy and tough to break apart. We did have to wait a little bit from picking up until actually eating, so these may have tasted better when eaten right away.

Great place to try variety of Sushi. I ordered a jumbo shrimp roll and it was good. Will definitely go back.
