This is my favorite recent addition to the community. The food is delicious, and the closest I've found to the Mexican food I grew up with in Arizona. The prices are a lifesaver given the state of the economy and the staff is always so friendly. 5 stars

OK, I walked into this place a couple of weeks ago and could tell by the smell that this place made authentic Mexican cuisine. We have other Mexican restaurants in Bay Ridge; in fact, there's been an explosion of them in the last five years. But they are typically sit-down spots or Tex/Cali-Mex, so they don't have the classic "street food" aspect that defines one particular taste of Mexican food. I went into Elia's today for the first time to get a breakfast burrito, and basically, everything went wrong. The guy at the counter didn't relay my order to the cook when I placed my order. And then the cook asked me what I wanted on my breakfast burrito. I assumed he meant, in addition, to eggs, rice, cheese, etc. So, I said chorizo. I got home and ate my "breakfast burrito," and it had no egg, no cheese, just basically chorizo, rice, hot sauce, and the tortilla. And it was DELICIOUS. It tasted so good I didn't care they got it wrong. The ingredients (especially the tortilla) made it incredibly authentic and 100% yummy. Next time, I will be sure to spell out that I want eggs and cheese with everything else on my BREAKFAST burrito, and I bet it will be even better.

This place is a true gem. So happy that I don't have to go to Sunset Park for my mexican goodies anymore and the bread is always fresh . Plus they do deliveries for all essential groceries like ice , milk and cereal . Food is unbelievable !! Every weekend is something new . Last week I tried these slamming taquitos with sour cream , lettuce and salsa on top. OMG , I could of eaten 10 of them. sOOOO Goooood. Viva la bay ridge & Viva la mexico
