I was so excited when I got the chance to try this restaurant! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a cute restaurant and was greeted. I was greeted by the owner, George, who was super nice and was served by the manager Nico and the bartender Jenn, and they were great! We had different cocktails and food, including the plantain chips w/ Morita salsa, cerviche, Elotes, infused (drink), Octopus Avacado salad, fish tacos, skirt steak, and stuffed chicken. I really loved the old-fashioned drink, which was strong. I also loved the stuffed chicken. Let's not forget the delicious dessert. I had a really wonderful experience

My two times dining in experience here has been wonderful. I read the reviews and perhaps they may be working on the delivery aspect but no issues dining in from what I saw. The server was great, appetizers which were the plantain chips & salsa were good, and we ordered the wheat empanadas. My favorite is the cheeseburger one but I also enjoyed the beef as well as the chicken empanadas. Each order comes with 2 and the portion size is adequate. The type of empanada you order has the name engraved on the crust in case you have a mix up or want to share. My favorite dessert was the guava heaven empanada but I also liked the tres leches that my girlfriend ordered. I had a few bites to try it out. You are asked whether you would like tap water or sparkling water as you are seated. You can dine inside that has plenty of seating or you can choose outside seating that is covered and looks really nice as well. I spoke with Tommy, co-owner, and he was very personable and easy to talk to. He even offered my party a free complimentary shots. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere, and value. I will certainly go back soon and bring family & friends so they too can enjoy the experience. A nice gem to have in Park Slope.

Delicious food that goes beyond empanadas! This used to be our go to takeout empanadas shop and now the restaurant is so delicious! Highly recommend! The empanadas obviously are delicious but also we got the ceviche and it was amazing!

We were immediately greeted by friendly staff. I was taken aback by how beautiful the restaurant renovations came out. As soon as you walk in, there is a neon sign that says Tequila made me do it. Great photo prop. The restaurant looks airy and more spacious. I loved all the beautiful decor, including the beautiful spacious bar. Niko and Allen were super friendly and attentive. They explained the menu to us and answered any questions we might have had. For drinks, we ordered a Corona and a cocktail called infused. I was unsure how I would like the infused cocktail, so Niko had the bartender make me a little sample for me to try first. It was delicious. The tajin gives it a nice kick. Our bartender was super nice and sweet. Niko brought us complimentary plantain chips dipped in a salsa, which was delicious. We ordered nachos with ground beef. The portions on these nachos were massive, super flavorful, and filling. Of course, we ordered the delicious empanadas. We ordered beef, cheese, and cheeseburger. I love how each empanada is paired off with a sauce. My favorite is the salsa verde sauce. We got to meet the amazing chef. The chef, along with Niko, brought out Gambas Al Ajillo, which is shrimp in a lemon butter garlic sauce with sweet plantain puree for us to try. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. This was a delicious meal. For dessert, the chef brought out the Guava Heaven Empanada with a side of vanilla ice cream in a chocolate cover cup. OMG, I now understand why they call this dessert Guava Heaven. It is absolutely delicious. The taste of the guava and cheese is so yummy. If you're looking for great quality, delicious food, then this is your to go to spot. Can't wait to come back and try the Cuban sandwich and some other foods on the menu.
