Amazing food in one of America's top kosher food eateries. Iconic is an understatement, and this visit definitely did not let me down. Great kosher place!I will say it's pricy, but it's also NYC , so it's kind of part of it.

You call them to make reservations for a group they don't tell you how many people to be here and you show up they tell the hole group has to be her it's disgusting I will not bring a group her again

The food was good. Rated 2 stars for service. It wasn't actually bad, but not living in this city I rate on personality of service. When you walk in, and get grunts and fingers pointing to questions, and while you are waiting for your order, not one person smiles or gives you a nod. When they stick out a hand, waiting for your credit card while continuing an ongoing conversation with a fellow worker. When (what seems) like an owner, looks at you blankly. When you try to get server attention, and someone takes requests and just hands your ketchup packets, mo smile, nod NO thank yous, that's bad service in my book. Kudos to waitress who acknowledged my pressing into the wall to give her room to get by with a tray. She smiled (under her mask) said "thank you, and have a great night "

Here's the deal. I love the food here. Best Chinese in my opinion. Here's the problem. You cannot order unless you call in. No apps. No seamless, grub hub, Uber eats etc. They refuse to save my credit card information no matter how many times I beg.We order every week. And every week I cringe when I have to scream into my phone over the noisy restaurant sounds so I can place the order.I beg her please save my credit card number for next week. "no sir, that's illegal." no its not everybody else on the planet does it.Its a shame that this place is stuck in the 80's but, maybe that's what makes it so good.
