Came here with a friend around 5:30PM on a Saturday and it was pretty packed. We ordered the Maesil Collins and Strawberry Fields cocktails--both were sweet and delicious. We also ordered the Chicken Karaage, Halmoni Mandu, Wild Mushroom Pajeon, Salmon Jang, Sesame Ice Cream, and Persimmon Ice Cream special. The highlight was definitely the ice cream! The chicken and mandu were really good but the ice cream!! I'm personally not a big fan of sesame but the gochujang caramel swirl intrigued me and the server recommended it so we decided to try it & it tasted absolutely amazing!!! The gochujang caramel was sweet with a tiny kick and it went so well with the sesame. Life changing!! The persimmon ice cream was also amazing with the crumble and persimmon bits, it was light and refreshing!! 10/10 would recommend ordering the chicken, mandu, and definitely the ice cream! I'll be coming back again!

Service is fantastic very attentive and informative waitstaff. Food was good but meant to be shared. I will be coming back to try more food and cocktails on the menu.

When I came here for the first time I got the Scott egg, burger mandu, and Brussels sprouts, and would have given this a 3 stars for food as I didnt like those dishes much. Went back a second time and got the half chicken and lotus salad — liked these dishes much more! The chicken and rice were both juicy and loved the flavors with the mushrooms and great texture by adding the chestnuts.

Fantastic Korean fusion food! Tapas style sharing is my favorite way to enjoy a bunch of different plates and flavors and all the dishes hit at Gahm! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food too. Will definitely be added into the neighborhood rotation! Service was also attentive and kind.

Came in to eat as I know the owner, for her great Ramen Chicken dishes, not knowing the name, menu have change and also the workers, they where ok, the bartender was rude as hell as for the simple questions I was asking. What it was is I'm a BLACKMAN, and all these new people are coming here to work in my Park Slope neighborhood where I've lived for the past 40 years are bring in ther racism, yes racism. You all talk about the atmosphere is nice but it's for you WHITE PEOPLE, what's so ignorant is these people can't even afford to live in the area, they just work here, so to the new owner's, work on you staff on treating everyone as equal, WE BLACKMEN ARE TIRED OF IT

The atmosphere has a chic/fun vibe, somewhat similar to Mokbar. The service was OK. Nothing spectacular, but still alright. The food was hit or miss. The scotch egg was absolutely delicious. It was an umami bomb with its different textures and combination of flavors. The shrimp dumplings were a total miss; whatever filling they had around the shrimp had disintegrated, and we ended up getting shrimp draped with empty/loose dumpling skin. The crab fried rice was good but for ~$30, I expected better. It needed much more crab, and needed pack a punch of flavors like the scotch egg. It just read/ate like a gimmick, rather than a memorable dish.Overall, I'd say, "meh".

TLDR: I feel like there's a lot of potential and I enjoyed the creativity on many of the dishes. Gahm tastes more like a grown-up Mokbar. Best things I had were definitely the mandu and the garlic crab rice. Sangria was good. I felt like service could have been a bit better.I was excited to try Gahm and we came in for a Friday night. We ordered quickly and grabbed the house sangria which was very tasty.Burger Mandu. Honestly, really tasty although plating looked interesting. There's lettuce, the mandu wrapper is seared crisp, some acid from the tomatoes; the cheese and meat blend - basically an In-N-Out burger in a dumpling skin. Enjoyable.Mushroom Pancake. This felt off to me, it didn't seem very Korean other than maybe the pancake dipping sauce. Basically a mushroom banh xeo. Fine but felt a bit out-of-place for me.Jaeyuk Scotch Egg. I love the creativity of this dish. The egg was cooked well, the sausage mix was tender, the breading was crispy. I think the jeyuk flavor got a bit lost because there's a good amount of chorizo in the mix but I think if the flavors were tweaked slightly - perfect.Army Stew. Basically an army stew with thicker cut pork belly, lots of bacon and fresh ramen noodle. Unfortunately we had to let it sit a bit because we didn't get any spoons or bowls and it took awhile to flag someone down for them.Dungeness Crab Fried Rice. The flavors itself were very tasty but here's the issue. It comes on a sizzling plate, there's a lot of garlic; it's a dish that needs to be served right away. When ours was arriving, another server was taking the adjacent table's order. The server bringing our dish I guess didn't want to ask them to move so while we waited for the other table to order - the garlic basically was burning on the sizzling plate. I understand that can get awkward but I think it's a judgment call you have to make. So while the other table finished their order, our entree (coincidentally the most expensive on the menu) had a key component effectively spoiled. The minced garlic was noticeably burnt when we ate through it. It was tasty enough but the bitter burnt garlic kinda sucked and to be honest - this was the main reason why I wanted to visit Gahm.At this point, just kind of wanted to wrap up and go home. Unfortunate way to finish the meal. I'd love to revisit again maybe when they find their footing.

Great for a modern and approachable take on Korean food. Happy to support and try the food. All dishes were enjoyable but missed small marks in flavor or execution which is why its not 5 stars. But I would come again to try more dishes.

A gem of a spot in Brooklyn. If you have any reservations about Korean fusion, this place will prove you wrong. The food is incredibly tasty, the service warmly amicable, and the atmosphere as comfortable as your best friend’s living room.
