I was told that the chef from another popular Caribbean restaurant was working here so I went to try. Nah. I didn’t like it at all. The server had a very uncaring attitude. I went to the empty counter to order and I started asking about food items she didn’t say hold on wait a minute she gave me clipped answers and then called somebody else in front of me to give them their prepared order and then the food itself was mid. I only ordered the potato and China and pumpkin and it was dry no sauce it stick up in my mouth. The roti/bus up was not horrible but they put it in a Ziploc bag and all the plastic melted by the time I reach home so I’m eating the bus-up thinking oh Lord, the Ziploc was melted did any of the plastic particles seep into the roti? Anyway I will not be back.Vegetarian options: Very limited. Potato, Channa and pumpkin were the only vegetables that they had, and even the mixed vegetables were not highly recommended by the people that work there.

My first time ordering ! The food was exceptionally tasty . My family enjoyed the mixed beverages which compliments the spices in the food with that island kick and twist- great service and great food and price is on point !

Ordered my food through uber eats and that was probably my first and last mistake. I’ve lived in new york all my life and never been to a Caribbean restaurant that serves romaine lettuce and tomato on the side instead of cabbage… The jerk chicken was very dry and not well seasoned, the only part of the chicken that had the seasoning on it was the skin. The rice and peas were stale and also dry. They also forgot our side order of plantains on both plates. For $16 per (surprisingly small) plate this was disappointing. The only thing saving this review is the doubles with meat, which were actually very flavorful.

The food was horrible. 0/10. I don't understand how you can mess up jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantain and macaroni salad. Everything tasted STALE. Lets start with the chicken, it was HARD and tasted like it was reheated more than 2x. Next the rice and peas, it was HARD as well and looked like it was scraped from the bottom of the pot. Next, the plantain. How do you mess up plantains??? and let's not even get into the mac salad. This is not a troll comment and I don't ever write reviews, but the food you served on Feb 8th was horrible. Please do better.

The food was okay. The seasoning on the chicken wasn’t my favorite.

Nostrand Ave in Brooklyn always has a row of really amazing West Indian and Caribbean restaurants and Gee's did not disappoint. Their doubles were amazing - perfectly seasoned with the sauce leaking thru the parchment paper. I ordered just the plain vegetarian doubles and the pumpkin roti. The roti was enormous so I couldn't eat it all in one setting and had leftovers for the next day. One thing I really liked about this place is they actually took cards and Apple/Google pay since there're a couple places nearby that are cash only. Apparently they also serve alcohol as well. While I didn't try any of their drinks this visit, I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

Stopped by this evening on December 22nd and was greeted by the owner, I believe who is Gee. Very nice man, he asked me how I was and I only stopped by to order Pholourie.Transaction went smooth, the location is very clean. He also gave me some extra tamarind sauce (free of charge) when I inquired about paying extra for it and told me they absolutely don’t mind doing so!Oh and the Pholourie were very good!!!! (5/5) for sure.I definitely will be back here to try the doubles, roti, aloo pie, Solo sorrel drinks and everything else.Stop by, trust me you won’t be disappointed.
