This is a bakery that has pretty much everything for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. There are fresh buns, a good variety of dim sum, yummy stir fried noodles, rice dishes with spare ribs or chicken, and even frozen buns to take home and enjoy whenever. People are friendly and the prices are more budget friendly than other bakeries. Highly recommend whenever you want dim sum or buns to bring home or bring to someone's home to enjoy together. No need to wait in line in a crowded, loud dim sum restaurant. Minus a star because ever since the pandemic, there is not as much a selection of buns and they run out fast and not made again until next day.

Best steamed bows in NYC. Three different locations throughout NYC. Hoping for Queens location but Manhattan location said it would be too far for employees to travel there. 2 in Brooklyn. One in Manhattan. The pumpkin and salted egg bows are the BEST. They are perfectly filled and they are not cheap on filling. LOVE these bows. Get it fresh or buy for cold for home.

Golden steamer stocks my house with the quintessentials of any asian household - frozen buns of various fillings (char siu, chicken, whole wheat swirl, you name it you got it). Golden steamer, however, is much more than their buns which are well made and fresh (refrigerated for those of you who want to take it home and freeze for reheating throughout the work weeks). Their peanut joong has more filling than your standard around the neighborhood and is super tasty. Their milk tea and coffee always hits the spot. They have small cantonese classic dishes such as mei fun, congee, and some dim sum for order. Their service is friendly and welcoming. Overall, a neighborhood staple, thank you for feeding my family!!

Highly recommend this place if you want some dimsum in Brooklyn (Ave U)! This spot is a little small but the dimsum is really good ($3.25 each). The roast duck was really good, a little cold but still super delicious. Service was really fast. Only thing I would keep in mind is that they don't really speak English and you might need to share a table with other parties if it's really packed.

Best salted yolk buns (and rare to find). The dough use on all the buns are really good.

Love this place! There are 3 locations. Buns are always yummy! They sometimes run out of the good stuff. My favorites are the sticky rice bun, scallions buns, mini roast pork buns.

You can't go wrong ordering the steamed custard bun (sweet) or the big bun (savory). The bun itself is slightly sweet and chewy. There is so much content inside. If you aren't sure what order, you can opt to get the pre-prepared to go trays which have 6. The sections are labeled also in english to help figure out which is which. There are some dim sum type options in the back but I have not personally tried.

Good pre-cooked steaming buns. Last a week or more in refrigerator and ready to serve.

(Translated by Google) The steamed buns sold overnight yellow sugar cakes morally, which was so hard to death.(Original)这间蒸包皇冇道德卖过夜黄糖糕,硬到扻死人.

I usually get their cold baos that are in the refrigerator close to the door. $6 for a box. The number of baos you get depends on what type you get. I enjoy the pumpkin and chicken baos. However, they put in a lot of celery for the meat baos, just in case you're not a fan.
