Best tofu pad Thai of my life - five years ago I lived right next door, and every time I’m in the neighborhood I stop by. I’ve tried a lot of thai places over the years and this remains the gold standard of tofu pad Thai⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My go-to Thai takeout here in Brooklyn! Any time I'm not sure what the vibe is for lunch or dinner they always pull through. I've tried many Thai spots across the city and Golden Thai always ranks high. They have super flavorful food with decent sized portions. I often eat half of what I order and save the rest for lunch the next day. They're fast, reliable, consistent, and you get a lot for what you pay for. Friends of mine who ask for Thai recommendations I usually send them here. Whether it's their favorite or not they'll be satisfied with their order for sure.

TLDR: Very small space but BIG on flavors! Affordable and delicious food that tastes like home cooking! I can't wait to come back!Came here around 7:30pm on Saturday with my friend after a comedy show. They only have 3 tables. (There's another table by the door but I think they use it as a work desk?) The server was so sweet. The Thai iced tea was not too sweet! Perfect for my geriatric millennial Asian palette. ? We split 3 items. The beer braised crispy ribs with sriracha dipping sauce (4 pieces) was sticky and sweet. I was impressed their sriracha was the OG Thai version that's less spicy and more umami than the American version.I gauge Thai places on their drunken noodle. Got mine with pork and it was spicy and the noodles was impressively chewy! The pad prig khing with beef was spicy and delicious! My friend said she doesn't eat vegetables but she ate these! Both entrees were ordered medium spicy and I thought it was the right amount of heat. I have a pretty high spice tolerance though. If you can't handle spice, order the mild! Cute decor, prices are very affordable, flavors were very authentic, and portions were generous so great for sharing! Clean unisex bathroom in the back (they will need to unlock the door for you). Seems like this place is more popular for delivery rather than dine in. Looking forward to coming back here soon to try more dishes!***UPDATE 2/18/24: Came back a second time with a different friend and we were very impressed with the food! We ordered vegetarian spring rolls, pad see ew with tofu (especially loved their tofu preparation!), and penang curry with pork (I would get it without pineapple next time and spicier). Been eating here for a couple years now. And the food quality has gone down a bit. Adding too much salt lately. Visibly seeing the grease in the soup. Rice has become soggy. Having to change from five stars to four stars as of today.

We came in on Saturday night…ordered shrimp rolls and mango salad for appetizers and Seafood fried rice. Food was excellent, flavorful. Friendly service. Will def come back.

we ordered green curry with chicken & shrimp & red curry with chicken & shrimp and got sick. The shrimp smelled really fishy and was definitely old. They shouldn’t serve shrimp if it’s old. Just say you don’t have shrimp available. We have now been sick for 3 days.

This place is delicious. It's spicy and has great flavor. Definitely give this place a try. Thai fried rice with shrimp they won me over. Tried a red curry and it was really nice. I like how they have set up a nice ambience for a tiny space. I had a peaceful meal. Friendly staff as well !
