Amazing sour beers and a fun vibe! There’s indoor seating, the bar, and picnic tables outside as well. At some point they were going to open the roof but I wasn’t able to see if they ever did. Great drinks and pop up foods on the weekends

Great beer, great pizza. A little pricey but I guess typical for Brooklyn. Has a really nice outdoor area upstairs when the weather is decent.

We were looking to taste beers with totally natural ingredients, that do not contain artificial additives or preservatives; This place fully satisfied us.

Great, very good beers.

Simcoe (the house cat) is the main event. But the beer is pretty good too?

The beers are, of course, incredible (they do so many styles so well!), but the taproom is also a lovely place to visit. Folks are always friendly, and occasionally we are blessed with a sighting of Simcoe the brew cat.Hosted our engagement party here last year (semi private), and it was a great experience! The team was very communicative and helped us make sure the evening went by smooth as butter. Cool atmosphere set up in the back area where the brewing happens. Did see brew cat that night.

Always loved their beer but this was my first visit to the brewery and it was an awesome experience. Bar-staff welcoming knowledgeable and adept with the vinyl selection for the evening. Excellent pizza and beer it goes without saying but the crowning achievement was the Imperial Stout with Hot Poker. Thought they were pulling my leg but no joke and not to be missed ?????

Grimm is among my top three favorite NYC breweries. For starters, they have a cat. While I missed my chance encounter with the resident mouser, Simcoe, I'm a huge fan of any establishment friendly to our feline friends. Second, their beer is incredible. They have a huge variety of beers, and I wanted to try nearly everything on their menu. I had a hard time narrowing down which brews to try, but fortunately, they offer smaller size pours, spreading out my options a bit more. We managed to snag a couple of bar seats when we sauntered in on a dreary, rainy Sunday. The bartender was lovely and very attentive despite essentially running the entire place herself during a busy time. I was appreciative of her service! The pizza upstairs is tasty, if not VERY thin crusted- just so you're away. It's made fresh, so I'd prepare for a little bit of wait, especially in busy times. The nice thing is your tab transfers between the bar downstairs and the pizza/ bar upstairs. The upstairs also has a lovely outdoor space (I'm sure it's great in the summer!) The beers here are vast and unique. I could spend an entire day sipping a drink at their bar, reading a nice book, and seeking out Simcoe.

Beer is amazing, bartenders are super friendly. Simcoe the cat is the cutest. A wonderful place.

Absolute favorite brewery. ?

The beer is pretty well made. However this is the only brewery I have been to in all 5 boroughs which will not let you taste the beer before buying a pint. They want you pay $4 to taste the beer. Every single brewery I have been to will happily let you taste the beer before pouring a pint. Needless nickel and diming of customers.

Not even that much of a beer person and I loved it here. Everyone there is all amazing, but Eric was seriously so great. Can’t wait to come back this winter
