Can't say enough good things about the bartender on a quiet Sunday night - made an excellent marg, was very accomodating when I only had Apple Pay, and was clearly on top of his game! I'll definitely be back whenever we go to a movie at Alamo, and appreciate the excellent service and vibes!

Def a unique bar to try in Brooklyn. The place had a few people, the atmosphere was great.

This one is a favorite- for anyone who loves campy yet still cute halloween decor - many of their drinks are delicious and they do serve food. Great ambiance and perfect place to spend some time before enjoying a movie

Great bar with a nice view and chill atmosphere. It's lively but also not chaotic, just enough that you can have a conversation with company and vibe to good music. Decorated with many odd wax figures in glass displays, probably where this bar gets its name from.

Quirky little bar on the 4th floor outside of the Alamo Drafthouse, featuring several walls of wax heads and human anatomy. The bar itself feels like a speakeasy. You don’t need a movie ticket to enjoy the bar, FYI. Good, strong craft cocktails.

I stopped in for a quick drink after seeing a movie earlier at the Alamo. Since I am a horror freak and consider myself quite morbid, I absolutely loved the ambiance of this place, in spite of it being a tad dark. Before sitting at the bar, I was pretty taken with all the amazing wax heads that they have on display. The bartender that I had was friendly, and he could really whip up a great and strong cocktail. They have a good-sized menu for drinks and reasonable priced, in my opinion. It's definitely a place to check out before or after a movie or if you are just shopping in the area. I will most certainly come back in the future.

Amazing bar in Brooklyn. Great service from the staff, particularly Ronald. Not sure if the quiz is a regular thing but it was fun on the 30th October. We'll be back.

We found this place while walking in the mall. It is a very discreet place and the environment is cool and mysterious. It was so cool.

I came to House of Wax for a private event with Alamo Drafthouse. As many times as I've gone to AD, I'm surprised that I've never gone to House of Wax. It's on the fourth floor near the escalators to the theaters. It's kinda dark inside which gives a speakeasy vibe. I ordered the raspberry bramble. I never had one before but it was really good, so much so that I ordered another one. They have a vast selection of beers and the service was quick. I was closer to the entrance but to the front, there's an area where bands can play music, which is where the live entertainment was playing. It seems like a cool spot, I would check out again.

Great cocktails and morbidly spooky atmosphere. Also watched the bartender get screamed at by an entitled douche and he was super cool and professional about it. Go here if you’re in Brooklyn.

Rating is pretty much based on the convenience of hitting a bar before or after seeing a movie at the Alamo. Unless I were seeing a movie, I don't think I would ever come here since it's on the 5th floor above Trader Joe's, Target, etc.I liked the bar itself - the selection of beers is good and service was quick. The décor is all wax busts and body parts, so that's pretty unsettling unless you're into that.

I stopped by and had a beer before going in to watch Oppenheimer. I was familiar with the ambiance. It wasn't new to me but it had been a long time so I still liked it. It was pretty busy since Oppenheimer came out around the same time as the Barbie movie that was also really popular. I didn't feel like I could chill before the movie, but the bartenders were pretty well balanced throughout the whole time I was there. They maintained good energy and treated everyone that was passing by well. Definitely stopping by again next time, even if at least for one drink. It's an interesting vibe, and only one you could get while going to watch a movie at the Alamo Drafthouse. Sorry, no pics.

Needed a place to hang before dinner reservation. Found this place by using google maps. This bar is on the 4th floor of the mall and by the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. I found out you can order a bottle of bubbles to enjoy in the cinema.
