The food is fine and they do have good weekly deals. I had a weird experience there yesterday though—when I got my check, I put down half in cash and put down my card for the rest. I watched the waitress put the cash in what looked like a tip jar behind the bar and then run my card for the full amount of the tab, which was reflected in the receipt she brought me to sign. I clarified that I wanted it to be half and half, and she assured me that it was, that the amount on the tab was “just for the kitchen” (???). I picked up my phone to check what had been withdrawn from my bank account and she was a little bit snarky about that. Then when I showed her that the full amount had been withdrawn, meaning she had basically just pocketed the cash, she kind of tried to argue that it just said the transaction was pending, which of course all transactions do until they clear. In the end she conceded that I was right and she just handed me my cash back, but I hated having to argue about it. Maybe it was an honest mistake and I made things unnecessarily confusing, but it didn’t really inspire confidence.

Got fish tacos to-go. They weren't cooked all the way through and appeared to be mostly raw under the breading. I realized this after a few bites unfortunately and didn't have the heart to take it back to the restaurant . It's a friday night and it seemed like the staff had been drinking which maybe explains why this happened. Definitely wouldn't chance it here again.

WOW what an amazing place I heard about hungry burrito from a friend and was in the neighborhood and decided to check it out, little did I know how good their food and cocktails were the staff is amazing Danna and Cesar were always on point and super hospitable.The food was over the top one of my favorite dishes was the corn ribs ?and their cucumber spicy margarita was one of the best spicy margs I’ve ever had, if your in the area make sure you stop by !
