Decent cute shop! It's clearly a family run business from the heart. Part of the neighborhood. I've never gotten a cake from there so I can't speak about that but their cupcakes are good. Their just super duper sweet so if that's not your cup of tea heads up. I've tried carrot cake. Pistachio and chocolate. My one issue is the price point isn't very affordable. Also the cupcake icing melted very fast by the time I got home was a bit messy. My wife wasn’t satisfied with the quality of the cake. The cream cheese icing wasn’t it. I ordered a blue velvet cake. Not only was I disappointed, her birthday was ruined. She didn’t like the writing, the taste, the icing or consistency. We usually frequent another Brooklyn bakery for the blue velvet but they would not have the cake ready in time. J&J talked a good one but I was not impressed. Money wasted

These were great tasting cupcakes! I highly recommend the carrot cake cupcake. They were moist and the frosting is dense. We opted for the mini cupcakes since we could try a few, and I liked all of the ones I tried - especially the carrot cake

My niece's sweet 16 was meant to be a joyous occasion, but unfortunately, the centerpiece cake became a source of immense disappointment. We entrusted J & J Delicious cake with creating a two-tier, custom cake for over $500, providing detailed instructions and ample two-week lead time. Sadly, the final product was a far cry from our vision.Despite having clear blueprints, the cake fell short in every way imaginable. While they attempted to remedy it, the revised version remained a pale imitation of what we ordered. To add insult to injury, the cake crumbled within 12 hours of storage, even after refrigeration. We were forced to scramble for a last-minute replacement at BJ's Wholesale Club.To say we were frustrated is an understatement. The cake, the supposed highlight of the celebration, turned into a stressful fiasco. Not only was it visually unappealing and structurally unsound, but it also failed to deliver on taste, falling well below expectations for its price point.In conclusion, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend J & J Delicious cake to anyone. Their complete disregard for our specifications, coupled with the subpar quality and exorbitant price, makes them a gamble not worth taking. If you're looking for a reliable and skilled baker for your next special occasion, steer clear of this establishment.

I really like their cupcakes, especially the pistachio! I stopped by the bakery earlier today to pick up cupcakes for my aunt's dinner. When I arrived there were barely any cupcakes left due to the holiday. The owner saw how disappointed I was and said if I would be willing to come back in 90 minutes, he would be able to bake the cupcakes. What great service - thank you!

Ordered a few days in advance for my fiancés birthday and they made us a lovely, moist red velvet cake with the message on it and everything. It lived up to the memories of what his mom used to make for his birthday!
Me and my partner don’t really have a big sweet tooth, but we will definitely be coming back to get these cupcakes again! They’re not too sweet or heavy, and there are tons of delicious flavors to try. This was also my first time trying “blue velvet” and it was super tasty. The owner was also very welcoming and friendly :)
