BEST SPOT IN BROOKLYN AND IN THE ENTIRE CITY!!! You MUST come here, I've ordered so many times this year with Jimmy''s and every single order was made to perfection!! Extremely FRESH high quality hero's and their macaroni salad and their potato salad is a MUST have. If you are looking for a signature hero that represents New York City this is the perfect spot and you will definitely get your moneys worth. I don't know how they're able to perfect their macaroni salad, but it is truly one of the best I've ever had, and every single opportunity I can splurge, I always pick up some. The staff is amazing and they make every single dish is made out of love. You can literally taste it lol I truly hope this gem will stay open forever because it is the perfect representation of Brooklyn

This sandwich shop is hands down THE best in southern Brooklyn! I just keep coming back for their chicken cutlet hero (chef's kiss). Placed an order for cookies/chips to be added, only to find out that they were unavailable at the moment...got a call back from Frank (nicest guy ever), who offered cannoli & coleslaw instead. Can't praise them enough. Food is always fresh and delicious. Love them. You gotta visit this wonderful shop!!

Oh boy, where do I even start with Jimmy's Famous Heroes? If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Walking in, I felt like I had stumbled into a time warp back to the 80s, and not in a good way. The decor was a mismatch of faded posters and tired-looking booths that have probably seen more sandwich casualties than a battlefield. Now, let's talk about the heroes – or should I say zeroes? I ordered their "famous" hero, and I'm still searching for the fame in that sandwich. The bread was as tough as a brick wall, making me question if it was baked in a medieval torture chamber. The fillings were an absolute disaster – limp lettuce, sad tomatoes, and what seemed like a random assortment of deli meats that were probably on their last leg.I tried to wash down the disappointment with a drink, but even the soda tasted flat and defeated, much like my hopes for a decent meal. The service was a whole other level of "special." The staff seemed to have mastered the art of indifference, as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to spend my hard-earned money on their culinary catastrophe. And don't even get me started on the prices! I've seen more reasonable pricing at a five-star restaurant, minus the quality, of course. In conclusion, if you're looking for an authentic taste of disappointment served on stale bread with a side of regret, Jimmy's Famous Heroes is the place to be. Just be sure to bring a good sense of humor – you'll need it to survive the experience.

I have eaten a lot of sandwiches in my day, but I have to say the sandwich I just ordered from Jimmy’s was shockingly better than any other sandwich I have eaten in NYC before. Most sandwiches are dry and salty and it’s kind of a chore of eating them, so I usually only eat them to stay full throughout the day, not really because I enjoy them. This sandwich was very moist, it was easy to eat; it had a delicious homemade flavor. The chicken cutlet was fresh tasting, not dried out or old like the usual. The sauces added moisture and distinct flavor to the sandwich. The bread was fresh. It’s honestly everything I could ask for in sandwich. The women working the front counter were also extremely nice which is even rarer in NYC than a sandwich which doesn’t feel like eating sand with a side of salty meat. There’s so much hype found in restaurant review ratings where I am constantly underwhelmed but this is an actual gem of NYC.5 stars ⭐️

On Tuesday, I decided to dine at Jimmy's Famous Heros. Upon entering, I was immediately overwhelmed by an unmistakable and unpleasant odor, strongly reminiscent of diarrhea. This was quite off-putting, and I couldn't help but wonder about the source of such a stench in a place meant for dining. As I tried to acclimate to the environment, I glanced to my right and noticed a homeless individual taking refuge in a corner of the establishment. The sight, combined with the persistent diarrhea odor, further added to my discomfort.Hoping for a brief respite from the unsettling atmosphere, I proceeded to place an order for a sandwich. However, the cashier's demeanor was less than courteous. To make matters worse, my order was incorrectly prepared. When I voiced my concerns and requested a refund, the situation took an even more bizarre turn. The owner of the restaurant emerged, shockingly, without any pants on. His aggressive manner and lack of attire were both startling and concerning. He made veiled threats, hinting at the involvement of some unsavory associates if I didn't leave. The pungent smell of diarrhea seemed to intensify during this confrontation, making the entire experience even more unbearable. As I delved deeper into the matter, I learned that the establishment not only lacked in hygiene and customer service but also operated under questionable ethics. Disturbingly, they do not compensate their employees, which is a blatant exploitation. The treatment of their staff, combined with the recurring diarrhea odor and the owner's inappropriate attire, painted a picture of a deeply troubled establishment.I firmly believe that such places should be scrutinized and, if necessary, shut down for the betterment of the community.

This establishment hires under age children, exploits their labor and never pays them. Buyer beware just how many corners are cut here.
