Such a great place for a quick snack or a hearty meal. The buffet is full of good options at a very accessible price, the food is delicious, and portions are great.A must visit if you are in the Greenpoint area.

I like the food here but it’s expensive :( I paid 27 dollars for a full plate from the buffet that definitely wasn’t 2 pounds. They certainly hide the scale measurement so you can’t see the weight! I don’t think the price is worth it for what you get. I think the recipes, while creative, are pretty basic. On the price— Adding “mashed potatoes” to your macro bowl means a scoop of potato mass and it costs 5 dollars. If you add mushrooms, it’s the same price but it’s literally a teaspoon of mushrooms. The portion sizes are too small and they overcharge for the buffet. If you care about value/cost you shouldn’t eat here. If you’re vegan and don’t care about money, it’s fine.

have been here multiple times as I live in greenpoint and am vegan. Such a hit or miss spot, some days the food is prepared excellently and others it's clearly old or something is VERY wrong with it. I recently ordered a spicy caesar cauliflower wrap, and the lettuce was not only clearly old/ wilty / but beyond doused in sauce to try to hide this(?). Would not have served food in this condition to an animal it was so bad. I ate maybe close to 1/3 of the wrap before it made me truly sick and I almost threw up, recognizing what was wrong with it. This is not the first time I have gotten clearly old food from this place, and when I picked up a toogoodtogo order from here the rice / tofu / all the food was so old and gross and hard I had to throw it all out. Some consistency in food quality would be nice - bc when a dish is made right it is some of the best vegan in the neighborhood. For now I will simply not be returning and risking getting another inedible food order. I recommend Greenpot a few blocks away - incredible vegan food there that never misses.

I like Jungle, but the buffet is either overpriced, or the scale is mis-calibrated, or maybe both. A plate with 4 spoons of rice, some black beans on top of it and a handful of baked potatoes turned out to be $19.50 before tips. This is way too expensive for a weekday lunch break. You can get vegan lunch combos at many other places in the area for $12-14.
Sadly the buffet food has gotten so much worse - it’s oily, greasy, super salty. It’s so salty, I can’t get rid of the taste of it for hours. I’ve been given so many chances, but seems like it’s no longer for me at this point.

Having a good time eating here. The chimichurri lions mane sandwich is bomb and I like that you get a little soup on the side. Counter person is lovely, friendly, and gave a great
