I used Just a Nibble for an engagement party at our house in Brooklyn for about 60 people. They EXCEEDED my expectations. Nick was wonderful to work with, flexible and took the stress out of the situation. He sent out a great team of two servers - Alexa and Xander - and a chef, Pablo. They worked hard, were polite and gracias to our guests, and cleaned up well. The appetizers we ordered were delicious and I had leftovers for days. I will definitely use this team again and recommend them highly.

From the minute Nicholas walked through the door on the day of the event, he put me entirely at ease -- I knew that everything would be great, and it was. Just A Nibble's waiters and bartender had the perfect touch, seeming to float through the crowd, unperturbed by tight spaces. They made everything easy and fun. Outstanding Catering Experience with "Just a Nibble"I hired "Just a Nibble" to cater an opening evening cocktail hour for a faculty conference at NYU and my guests were blown away by the exceptional quality of the food and the service — not to mention the view of NYC from the top floor.The standout selection of pass-around hors d'oeuvres included mini lobster rolls with tarragon aioli, beef sliders (with Swiss cheese, bacon-shallot jam, and arugula pesto), and mini meatball marinara with burrata on grilled crostini. On the veggie side, the catering team brought us gazpacho shooters, and shrimp & asparagus skewers with yuzu aioli and crispy rice and (my favorite) wild mushroom and black truffle Asiago. "Just a Nibble" also set up a well-curated charcuterie table with a full complement of fruit, cheeses, crostini spreads, and NY deli meats. There were more offerings, but I thought these highlights were the most delicious.Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident throughout the evening. Their staff was cheerful too -- attentive and thoroughly professional. Their calm, warm, engaging presence definitely added to the overall experience.All said, if you're in search of a reliable catering service with a delicious menu and impeccable service, I highly recommend "Just a Nibble."

We could write endlessly about the delicious paella, tuna tartar or braised pork belly, but what made the evening a delight was Nick. He was always available and accommodating and suggested ideas that made this special birthday party memorable. It's rare to get a proprietor to actually work with you and to execute exactly what he promised. We felt utterly "catered" to, and I believe that that's what best defines Just a Nibble. Working with Nick and his team was so easy even though we live in Canada and were planning our wedding from a distance.Not only was Nick extremely quick to respond, he helped us choose an absolutely delicious meal while respecting our budget and making very good recommendations at every step of the planning process. He even coordinated with our venue on our behalf when we told him we were in Canada and could not be present for a walkthrough of the venue prior to the event.My mother has a long list of allergies and intolerances and once I provided Nick with the list, his team not only made sure my mom could eat, they adapted the entire menu so that she could eat almost every single item on the menu without fearing for cross contamination. They were super transparent with the ingredient lists as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and they were super helpful with helping setup and clean up the space for dinner time.The food was sublime and most of our guests went for seconds. Some of our guests are even still talking about how delicious the food was weeks after the event.
