This is best Haitian food I've ever had

All right, so when it comes to good food, I'm all about the vibes. I was put on to this Haitian food spot on the way back from Dumbo looking for quality food outside with that home cooked vibe and I'm so happy I stopped by. Food: I got the poulet in sauce with rice and beans ----IT SLAPPED !!!!!!!!! The pickliz was one of the best I have ever tasted & the bunnan was so fresh and tasty I suggest you dipping it in the chicken sauce LAWD A MERCY! Lol I posted a before and after pic of the plate because I want you all to know how Good it was lol and it's definitely shareable I split it with someone else and it was perfection Ambiance: It's a small restaurant, has seating but not a lot of people and I personally didn't go inside to pick up the food but I heard the owner is sweet. I guess that goes with service as well I heard they look out for you especially when your Haitian so much respect although I'm not Haitian it's a good look to look out for your people no matter what background. Don't forget to put the sauce on the rice and beans and the pickliz on pretty much everything. I won't point you in the wrong direction Must try if you're looking for good Haitian cuisine for a good price...I forgot to mention they only take cash and for this good meal it came to 10$

The lady at the counter was rude. Once I told her never mind because what I wanted didn't start till lunch and they still had breakfast going. She called me a "crack head" before she answered the phone.

I am a Trini and I have tried Haitian food from different restaurant and this is the best tasting Haitian food I've tasted absolutely delicious ?.

The best Haitian restaurant I found yet. The food is always delicious (especially the tassot fritalle) and their prices are affordable. It's best to call and order about 15-30 mins in advance, so when you arrive it's ready and hot... Love this place!

The woman at the counter was very rude and kept her back turned. Said that they only sell black rice on Sundays which was untrue. An older gentleman intervened because her statement was so strange that he was willing to order the food. They are very selective on who they serve which is really sad.So please beware of this establishment

Love this place. I typically order the tassot cabrit (fried goat) and it is the best I’ve ever had. Tender, seasoned, and fried perfectly. Their rice is also delicious. As a Haitian myself, i don’t usually like anyone’s rice but my mothers but BAYBEEEE La Tranquilite gave my mother a run for her money (don’t tell her I said that). Highly recommend!

Okay so I ordered white rice green plantings and bean gravy to go over the rice with chicken and let me tell you I was not pleased I am Haitian and this food right here was a smack to all professional Haitian cooks face everywhere there rice the texture is like they was rushing to make the rice there bean gravy was with less taste there other sauce was very greasy that food all in one was disrespectful is like they literally cursed at whoever was tasting there food smh don't get me started on the chicken! ONE STARE!!!

The food is great! I wish they made enough to renovate because I would like to done more comfortably. But the feeling is homey when you are eating. The amount they serve is more than enough. The bathrooms need work
