Excellent veggie pizza—heaping piles of well cooked veggies, delicious sauce, cheese, crust. And very hearty—enough for two people/meals. Will definitely order again.

I've been on the fence about La Villa for a long time. Even as everyone I know raved about it, I could never understand what the big deal was about. Maybe I always found the menu kinda boring (all standard Italian dishes) or maybe I just ordered all the wrong things. At any rate, I have it another shot and I'm glad I did -- the Funghi e Cipolle pizza is freaking delicious!

We have eaten here numerous times and the food, service, and atmosphere are always 5 Star Delicious!! Baked clams were cooked to perfection, Spaghetti pomodoro would have been 5 Stars if it did not have parmesan cheese on it. It gets 4 Stars instead, not that I don't love cheese, it just takes away from the sauce. Their pomodora sauce is one of the best I ever had. I actually crave it sometimes, it is that delicious!! Their caesar salad gets 5 Stars, it is consistently the best I ever had. Their homemade dressing has the perfect amount of anchovies in it, along with the outstanding shaved Parmasaen cheese!!?

I’m an avid pizza eater, and a born/raised New Yorker (Manhattan). I keep an organized NYC list, and have tried over 100 places around the city.I’ve been eating at La Villa for about 9 years as a local in Park Slope. High-quality ingredients, consistent execution, and terrific service. It’s an incredible neighborhood pizzeria that’s also worthy of traveling to. Highly recommend.

Everything Great.Vegetarian options: Few options. They used to have vegetarian lasagne and have asked several times to have it put back on menu to no avail. Sad

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while but remembered liking it, so I decided to stop in tonight for an upscale meal, since it was my birthday. I wish I hadn't, because the service was slow and inattentive, I received the wrong pizza, and I was lied to about receiving said wrong pizza when I pointed out the error. I ordered a deep dish Sottosopra, which according to their menu, is "'Upside Down' Layers of homemade Mozzarella topped with Marianara Sauce or Tomato & Basil Sauce, Pecorino Romano, & Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Large Deep Dish or Wood Fired". What I received was a Neapolitan-style Margherita with the toppings "right-side up" instead of "upside down". The server walked away before I could say anything, and because of the slow, inattentive service, I finally decided to eat the pizza anyway before it got cold because while the crust was wrong, and the toppings were in the wrong order, they were mostly correct (note the lack of pecorino romano, which was in the Sottosopra description). Upon pointing out receiving the incorrect order to the server, he tried to tell me that my obvious Margherita was in fact the Sottosopra, and that the Margherita "looked different" than what I was given. I told him the Sottosopra is supposed to have upside-down toppings, and he told me the toppings were in fact upside-down. I raised an eyebrow at him and paid the check, but he lost his tip for lying about the mix-up instead of owning up to it, and La Villa lost my business for good. It's too bad, because the pizza is delicious, but I don't need to be gaslit when I go out to eat. There are other places in the neighborhood to have upscale pizza when I'm in the mood that hopefully don't come with a side of gaslighting the customers.

Came here with my family today and had a perfect lunch. A large pizza and a caprese salad filled us all up and the food was absolutely incredible. Great service too. Can’t wait to do it again. What a gem!

Service was above average to me. I think the bus boys worked very hard and were very attentive. The waiter was equally good, only deduction was that he didn't bring oil for the bread. The restaurant is a family style restaurant, accommodating to all age groups. The food was plentiful and lacked seasoning in my opinion. I found the food to be well prepared but just lacked flavor.

This is my go to takeout spot. The Caesar salad and chicken Parmesan are THE BOMB! I think they make their own Caesar dressing and its rate! A little pricey for takeout though
