Beware of the pricing I order a can soda , calzone and order of 4pc garlic knots and he said it was $20 I stared at him for a few second and then said no for realHow muchThen he counted and said oh $12Then I asked why he said $20 and now it $12 then a mumble of excuses came aboutThen told me I owe him a $1 because he didn’t charge me for pepperoniI smiled and said sure next time when I come back, but truth be told I am never going back lol

We grabbed some quick slices here while in the neighborhood looking for co-ops to buy. Fair prices (2 slices and a can of soda for $6). The owner may be a bit cheap (no straws for your soda, and some attitude for asking for a cup), but the slices themselves are pretty solid. So much so I honestly felt nostalgic as it tasted like a genuine old school Brooklyn slice I can't really find any where else.

Ordered pizza for pickup from here on a whim and I was pleasantly impressed. We placed an order around 9:50pm (they close at 10) and I wasn't sure we'd get our pizza considering we were still stuck in NY traffic. We arrived around 10:15pm and went home happy with a large pizza box. We had a picnic in our living room with Landy's pizza and the kids were quiet, chomping away on their slices. I appreciate the simplicity of the ingredients. Nothing spectacular, nothing bland but just enough to get our bellies full.

Landy's has great food and we have enjoyed it for a long time, but they have to update their menu(s). Their menu prices do not match the charged prices; even with added tax. Some menu items are not available any more. Can't give them their 5 stars yet.

Excellent quality, good portion size, flavorful and not overly salty or sweet. Hits that perfect NYC style Italian food. Friendly service too!

Know what I love about Brooklyn? PIZZA. Pizza joints are as common as running water. Often they are trying to put do each other with wild toppings or unique combos. You see, that is why I like this place. It was JUST cheese pizza. Now, they may make ither, but I had a choice if regular cheese or a ricotta slice. Welp, two choices? I took both . When I took my bike, there wasn't anything new or avant-garde about this pizza. It wasn't trying to be anything else but Pizza. In fact it took me back. Reminding me of just an old school slice with a can of Coke when I was 12 years old. Warm and gooey on top and that crispy crust when you bite into it. The slices were a little thick not thick like Sicilian thick but a nice doughy bite. Being a dude who loves carbs. I fell in love with the dough. Again real simple Pizza not trying to compete with the fancy boys. You want it authentic you just want a slice and you want to walk down the street with a smile, then keep it simple!

For starters I could not understand the person on the phone. I wanted to get one of the specials but you can’t add any items to the pizza, that’s crazy. Most folks don’t just want a cheese pizza. Even charging $4 extra per topping like the normal menu would be fine but not allowing it at all is simply nonsense. Too many great pizza options to fiddle with this.
