Cute shop and overall okay pastries. Maybe it was because it was later in the day, but not very flaky. Flavor was good though.

Delicious, flavorful and flaky pastries made with real butter. No bathroom or place to sit down

Got a pretty good fresh raspberry tart and mini baguette sandwich here. Both were pretty delicious. They had an amazing selection of pastries and breads, and I wish I had time and money to try them all, but honestly, the staff was very short and not welcoming or friendly with the customers. They were bringing in inventory while I was there, which entailed carrying trays of frozen pastries through the super narrow store. The store is so narrow you cannot really fit 2 people side by side, so carrying those trays past customers must have been difficult and annoying, but they definitely did not even try to hide their displeasure and rolled their eyes and huffed when people got in their way.

Almost gave 3 stars due to the lackluster service (counter staff never says thank you for coming or thank you when I leave tips, they just drop the food on the counter , say the name of the food and walk off. Today I ordered a bunch of stuff and had to ask them for a bag because they didn’t think to ask me if I needed one or not) but the food and variety of options keeps it 4 stars for me. I wish the people who worked here would show a little more grace when people give them their business and when we leave tips. It’s to the point now where im probably just going to stop tipping them altogether on hot sandwich orders and stuff like that… I recommend the croissant bacon egg and cheese as well as the lamb merguez baguette sandwich, you can add brie to it or other cheeses for $1 extra. They used to carry this cured sliced duck that I loved but They are not carrying it at the moment. The space is super narrow such that if theres a bunch of people there it can be a bit uncomfortable. Its narrower than most bodegas I would say.Wheelchair accessibility: Not really accessible, only front area is accessible
Small deli with a nice assortment of French foods including croissants and other pastries. A little sweet for me tastes though.

Nothing is less chic than their totally arbitrary rules about what they will heat up for you and what they won't. In one instance I was told they were allowed to heat up one type of croissant and not the one beside it, which was basically identical. I asked, out of curiosity, why, and they could not tell me. " Just the rules ". This place isn't special enough to behave like New York's hottest club. The coffee is mid. The raspberry macaroon is good, but not so good that I wouldn't prefer patronising a place that doesn't behave like this.

It's the only place in NYC I've found that has Tarte tropizienne. Bet I'll be here every week getting some!!

Came early for a fresh baguette. The baguette was cold and hard enough to break teeth. Do you sell old bread to customers??
Caramel ice coffee taste like water!
Nice bakery which also offers a variety of grocery products from France. Would recommend their pastries as they have everything you can think of.
My go-to for affordable breakfast and lunch options, plus lots of well-made pastries, coffee, and a small variety of groceries.
